I am 14 years old and all my friends already have braces, and i dont want to be the only one with crooked teeth. i need 4 bicuspid teeth pulled out in order to get braces. i am worried and afraid about the pain involved, but even more so about how im going to look with for gaps in my mouth after they get pulled out. i am so worried that i often find myself crying. i want to have beautiful teeth so bad but having that many teeth pulled out frightens me. i have never had teeth pulled out before. CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE? i appreciate it so much.

well i have braces and i had to get two teeth pulled out to get my braces and i was just as afraid as you were. but honestly, there's nothing to be afraid of at all! when you go to get your teeth pulled out you might feel afraid or anxious so just sing your favorite song in your head and squeeze onto the handle bars of the chair to get your mind off of things. the only thing that you're going to feel is the injection itself, now honestly its not that bad so dont worry about it, and it doesn't last that long. after that you dont feel anything, i promise. just make sure to take some tylenol when the numbness wears off, and eat soft foods. and about the gaps, don't worry about that because when you get your braces, your teeth will be pushed back it'll cover the gaps. i don't know if that makes sense, but trust me it's not going to be bad at all.

i went through all of this and im perfectly fine :] good luck and don't worry about it, it's nothing!

no it's not bad.
but it depends, because most of the time with white pants your underwear shows, unless you wear a thong. but even then becareful with what color thong you wear lol. and white pants are easier to get stained/dirty. hope i helped :)

i need some ideas for halloween. and im in 8th grade so nothin babyish, i really don't wanna go too "out there" this year since im gettin older.. so ya nothin too extreme. i love animals, music (fav bands are My chemcial romace, green day, and also linkin park, just mainly the first two tho)manily i love rock, metal, punk, etc. music is my life. so i kinda want to include that too. i was kinda thinking maybe a punk angel. like an angel with tons of black make-up, and like giant fake eyelashes, lots of eyeliner, etc. but idk i need some ideas! please help, sry this was kinda long, but im open for ANY ideas, Thanks!

the costume that you have in mind sounds very cute, so you should do it.

or here's a thought...it's halloween, so wear something you wouldn't normally wear!

like be all preppyy or be a cheerleader, do something that's the total opposite of you.

well since your 5`7, maybe a TINY heel wouldn't hurt you, because i can't really find any FLAT ankle boots, but i tried.

yeah i agree with wisewoman98. pac sun and delias have some nice stuff. especislly pac sun, it's one of my favves [=.

and also try urban outfitters, they have amazing cool funky stuff. guess, h&m, victorias secret, charlotte russe, zumies, 2cute, free people [they havee cute stuff! i lovee them.], bloomingdales, french connection, ruehl.

Hey. Well, I'm 14f. Before school starts, I'm going to get a new hair cut/color. Right now my hair is lightish darkish brown (not my natural color) and I'm going to get it like, really dark brown again, like it was a while ago. But I really need a new cut. I did get it cut about..umm... 1-2 months ago, and they were the like, straight across bangs, but they were getting in my eyes, and I just wasn't into them very much, so i changed my hair to a side part. So now I have short side bangs. My hair is not long, but not short. It goes past my sholders. But I just don't like it. I have a round face, and brown eyes. So what I want to know is what hair styles are in style right now, and what would look good on me?? Should I get it cut down to my shoulders, or should I leave it long? I just don't know what to do. I have some layers. I need help!!!!!!! And if it is possible, I would like pictures. Thank you!!!!

arite well try looking at pictures in magazines, you might see a hairstyle you really like. what i did to my hair was i got it cut, so now it is a couple inches past my shoulder, i had REALLLY REALLLYY long hair and i wanted a change. i got it angled with layers and side bangs. this look is reallyy cute, maybe you should try it.

it is summer time and i got the cutest bathing suit.
i want to go swimming but my mom doesn't know about the piercing.
what do i do?

i would like to wear the bathing suit but my mom will see it. if i wear a tank top in the pool, the belly ring will show when i get wet.

hmmm, well if you JUST got your belly button pierced you shouldn't go swimming right away because of the chlorine.

well i think you should tell your mom. she has to find out sooner or later, even though she might be mad i think she will be less mad that you told her right away instead of a while after.and it' better that you tell her instead of her finding out on her own.

if not then maybe you can wear a big t-shirt when you go in. just make sure the t-shirt isn't white, because then you would be able to see it. maybe like the color blue? basically any color besides a light color.

I have a really bad unibrow. Like REALLY bad. My mom won't let me do anything with it: I am not allowed to pluck it, wax it, or remove it in any way. I try to pluck it, but its really hard because there's so many hairs, and also my mom hates it when I do. But recently she kind of gave up, because I still pluck it anyways.

I want to convince my mom to let me go to a salon and get it professionallly waxed. She will most definetly not be happy upon hearing this, but I just want to remove the unibrow, and get some touchups on my eyebrows. She thinks they will do it really thin, "just like those cashier ladies with drawn on eyebrows". It just makes me really mad. I was over at my friends house once, and she gets her eyebrows waxed, and they were starting to grow back a little, and her mom was like "OMG your eyebrows look horrible we need to get them fixed ASAP". I wish my mom was like that. I actually got my unibrow from her, and she doesn't do anything about hers... and well it looks really bad.

She says waxed eyebrows aren't natural, but unibrows arent either!!

How do I get her to let me? Any good arguments?

okay well maybe you should do some research on waxing your eyebrows, show your mom this and maybe then she will see that waxing isn't that bad. i suggest you set up a pros & cons list about waxing your eyebrows, if she still says no to waxing, there are other things you can do to get rid of your unibrow, she might say no to this too, but how about threading? look it up on google, and just show your mom all of the options.

or you can just talk to her and tell her how you feel, you really want to get it waxed because you don't like your unibrow, maybe you two will come to an agreement.
