I have naturally straight hair, but I like to wear it curly. I just bought my first curling iron, and I think the heat is drying my hair out. Did I buy the wrong product? Or am I just using it incorrectly?
Lour (link)
that happens to my hair too from my straight iron and blow dryer.. see i have curly hair and i want it straight all the time.. lol.. but maybe if you have different heat sttings on your curling iron try using it on a lower one and also make sure to use a good conditioner on your hair everyday... i use thermasilk and ithink the one i have is moisture infusing.. and i got it cuz it says heat activated on the bottle lol.. but it seems to work really well with my hair.. im sure there are better ones but thats the one i use. hope i helped

I'm getting a hair straightening iron for 20 bucks. It's a ceramic ConAir with gold colored plates. Will it work as good as an expensive one, like a CHI? (link)
i dont know about the really expensive ones but ive heard that revolons work really good and arent too expensive .. but ones with ceramic plates will work best..

Hi, I straighten my hair everyday, but now that its rainiing im afrid it will get frizzzy and wavy. I use john fried hair serum and i have a chi. Do u think it will go wavy on me? Or do u have any ideas wut to do with my hair so it wont get frizzy and wavy? * I rAtE* (link)
they have this gel stuff to put your hair that is humididty resistent so when you straighten your hair it wont get all curly or wavy i dont know if it works though but i get mad when i straighten my hair and then it rains and the humididty makes it all frizzy and curly again but idk what to say about the rain cuz if my hair gets wet it curls up

Alright, I highlighted my hair about August 17. Do you think it would be a good or bad for me to highlight it again? It's growing out so I think I should. Altho, I don't want to burn up my hair. (link)
its been a month and you just highlighted it and thats not as bad on your hair as dying all your hair so im pretty sure it will be fine

From personal experience, what is the best self tanner out there? Not toooo drastic and def. not streaky or fake orange looking, and I know there's some decent ones out there because some people who have said they've used them look natural. I don't want to use a tanning bed and the mystic tans look HORRIBLE and orange, but i want to be a little bit tanner for the homecoming which is coming up in 2 weeks. Any suggestions? (link)
I have banana boat sunless tanning cream or lotion whatever you want to call it and i use it on my legs for when i want to wear shorts and it seems to work pretty good i didnt turn orange and as long as you can see all the spots your putting it you can get it evenly rubbed in but you have to be careful around your knees and stuff cuz it sometimes gets darker there and around your ankles where they bend but i thought it worked pretty good

ok i just got my hair layered! looks better, now my hair is highlighted but fomr last jan. and i dont hav the money for more its 70 bucks for more!! to much! lol ne1 hav ne tips for makin my hair look better? cuz its dark brown at the top then light brown with blonde highlights... i need help asap!! (link)
You could buy the highlights you do yourself from the store i heard the herbal essence works really good or u could find a color close to what your roots are (or whatever color you want) and then buy the hair color at the store and die your hair 1 color and then you can always put more highlights in it later

Is it considered "dorky" to roll jeans that are a little short into capris? or should I just cut them? Thanks (link)
i think either way would look just fine i know a lot of people who do but if you cut them make sure to make them even or it might look funny

Is it dorky to roll up your jeans if their to long or is that in style? j/w (link)
I think rolling up ur jeans is just fine lots of people do it and it looks good

ok well my hair isnt curly but its wavy and frizzy and juss like i hate it...i straighten it with a straightener and ive tryed like 3 diff kinds...and they get it soo silky but it never stays straight and the ends curled in and it juss pised me off...so i started ironing it...it works gr8 (yea a clothes iron on an ironing board)...it stays straight all day and is pretty straight when i wake up!! after i shower it gets ugly again and its jsus a hassle ironging and straightening ur hair eryday!! wat can i do?? r ther ne like straighting conditioner/shampoo that will help? ne good straighteners...i really dont wanna iron it it kills it!! HELP (link)
i use a straightening mousse and i blowdry my hair with one of those brushes that clamp together and have bristles on both sides kinda like a straigtening iron but its a brush it took me a while to get the hang of it but it works pretty good now that i can do it right and my hair stays straight all day and it only costs like 6 or seven dollars hope i helped some.
