it is normal to question your faith. people do it all the time. but if you keep questioning it over and over maybe you dont really believe what you once belived. maybe its time to take a hard look at your opinions, the Bible, and your life in general. follow God, the Bible, and you heart.

well, it looks like you have got the first part of growing closer to God down! the fact that you want to get closer, is awesome. most christian teens are fine with being a christian but they dont live like it. good for you! what you need to do is..
1. check your friends. you need good solid christians as friends if you want to grow closer to God.
2. be in your Bible. if you arent reading the book God gave us as christians to live by, you wont be able to grow closer to him.
3. go to church... FOR CHURCH. most teens go to church as a social event, but you should go to actually learn. plan social events for after church.
* most important PRAY TO GOD ask him for the strength to get through the week. he will grant it for you.

My friend is trying to change the things i believe in. He's jewish and i'm christian. I'm scared i won't get into heaven if i believe anything he does. i really dont know what i'm doing or getting myself into. He's one of my closest friends but it's almost like he's threatening to not be my friend anymore if i dont believe what he does.

first of all, just because you have a differnt view on something doesnt mean yall cant be friends.
second, you need to look at every single angle, look at what he says and look at what you belive and then decide from your heart exactly what you think is right. read the Bible and make sure you are making the right desicion for YOU and not for him!
