advice

alright soo i used to have realllllly bad acne, mostly on my cheeks. its pretty much gone away now, but i have these ugly scars now on my face.. they look like little red dots all over my cheeks. it looks like i still have acnee. does anybody know a good product that can make these acne scars go away?

I can't personally guarantee this stuff, but I talked to my doctor, and am now taking Minocin.
It clears up my skin & most of my scars have faded so much!

My belly button piercing is seriously infected. I've had it for four days and every day it gets worse. What should I do? I cant take it out, because then the infection gets sealed in. AND every day I sea salt soak it twice -- once in the morning and once before bed, and clean it with rubbing alcohol (I have to do this because I have field hockey season and I don't want the sweat to make it even worse/dirtier...so I just use the r.a. after practice and then I shower.)
So I thiknk Im cleaning it pretty well -- But what else should I do?
I am extremely concerened this could become serious.
By the way, talking to my piercer is not an option... so don't say to go back and talk to them.

Quite honestly, when I got mine done, it was like that for a bit.
Only difference I cleaned it more than twice a day.
Pretty much whenever it looked like it needed to cleaned I would clean it. hell even up to 8 or so times. (haha I'm really paranoid, because my sisters' got so bad that they had to remove theirs and they both have scars from the piercing.)
If you go to any body piercing shop, you can ask for special creams to clean/heal your piercing.
Hope I helped & good luck :)

you really helped me there. i thought i totally screwed up and wasnt suppose to shave it all off. have you ever had a guy finger you and was totally okay with there being no hair there. not trying to get personal. but these things worry me. and idk maybe im just used to seeing hair there it just looks so alien like. haha. and it itches which i know is normal. but is it going to itch like all the time?
thank you so so much!

Awe hey no problem! I thought that at first too!
I know lots of girls who shave it all off too.
And yep, I have had a guy finger me and he didn't care. I can't speak for all guys, but I know for some, hair kills the mood a bit. and I think it's becoming more & more normal for girls to be bare there.
After awhile, it stops itching, just make sure your skin isn't real dry when you shave or it'll be worse.
Your welcome I hope I helped!! :)

Whenever im with my boyfriend he always tries to put his hand down my pants. and i wouldnt mind it but i have pubic hair and im scared it would gross him out, so talking to some friend we were all going to go skinny dipping. and they were like ugh i need to shave first. and me being curious was like shave what they were like my vagina its prickly. i was like oh yeah haha. so that night i went and shaved my vagina. and now it just looks weird and not normal... and i think i made the wrong decision. but i cant go back now. was i suppose to do that?
guys when your going to finger a girl do you expect hair or no?
and girls just please help with the whole situation of shaving down there.

I shave, and have been for awhile.
But for one thing, I think it'll always look funny (though in my opinion better hairless but then again I don't like hair like that I'll feel gross) cause honestly, I don't think any girl's vagina is pretty. Face it, how likely is that?
I think it's more enjoyable shaved also cause you don't have to worry about that and it's easier for the guy to get around and won't pull any hairs *which would hurt like hell*
Any more questions feel free to ask :)

I've been drunk at least 10 times.
I've only had one hangover.
The one time I had it it was my first time drunk, and I wasn't that drunk. The next day I was throwing up, and I had a stabbing headache.

All the others times, I've been from a little drunk to really really drunk so I can't even talk properly, I wake up in the morning, no hangover. Just slightly feeling sick around lunch time.

Now, I'm not complaining ;)
I'm just wandering why.

15/f if it helps.
And I don't live in the states. So don't lecture me :)

No lectures here girl :)
Oh wow the joy of not getting hangovers.

I've only had one, but that was because I had actually gotten alcohol poisoning (yes stupid I know but it's over now so whatever)
It really depends on how well your body is nourished the day you drink.
If you don't eat/drink water before & after you drink, you're more likely to get a hang over.
And I don't mean eating junk food. I mean eating properly.

Hope it helps :)

i shaved my arms when i was little.now im 16 and the darkness and how much hair their is bothers me. should i continue shaving? should i bleech?
what are your suggestions?

i used to do it when i was in the 9th grade i did it a few times
i stopped and just let it be (believe me even now it still bugs me sometimes) but honestly no one really notices it but you, you just think people do.
don't continue shaving. you could bleach it. or wax to make it thinner and all.
but i just let it be. the sun will naturallly bleach your hair as well btw :)

Hey guys!
I'm a 16 year old girl living in Minnesota and I have a hard time tanning! I'm pretty fair (due to my swedish background) but I don't really burn. I just can never really get a good solid tan that lasts, you know? I was wondering if anyone had any good tips like certain times to go outside or whatnot? Or if you've even tried a good sunless tanner? I use Jergens ever now and then..

*Please don't recommend a mystic tan! I got one for prom this year and I absolutely loved it, but it faded after a week and they're way too expensive to get weekly!

Thanks for your help :)

Same boat as the person below, but just so you know, the sun is usually at it's strongest between 11am and 2pm. That's when I tan :)

I'm 16 & on the pill, and I was just on Tri-cyclen lo, but I was majorly having breakthrough bleeding, so my doctor just switched me on Alesse. I just started it 2 nights ago, and tonight I realized I've started to spot again!!
I've been dating my boyfriend for a few months, and I was having him over friday night.
Thing is, for the past few weeks we've been fooling around, but over-top clothing. Well friday, he was gonna go under them. But I can't let him go down my pants if I'm spotting!!
And my doctor told me I'll probably spot for a 2-3 months. I DON'T WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG!!!
PLEASE HELP

Especially since you just switched to a stronger hormone-leveled pill, it should take your body about a month to adjust. But after that, the spotting should be reduced and you'll be fine :)

since i was 13 i always shaved my pubes with a razor and soap
i no a lot of people who do and stuff
but my sister has some waxing stuff
and i was wondering which would be better...
and would waxing hurt really bad?

i prefer the easier and faster way to do it so any recommendations or comments?
thanks =]

I've done both. And let me tell you waxing sure brings along a good level of pain. One important thing while you're waxing is to make sure it's not too hot, but not too thick either. When you wax, the hair takes much longer to come back, but I found the pain to be brutal. Shaving doesn't hurt, just the way & time length it grows back differs from the waxing (it comes back faster as you've noticed)
And keep in mind that before you wax, you have to, well let yourself grow enough to wax. If you swim and such alot, that turns to be an inconvenience, but that's just my opinion.
Hope it helped :)

for how long after you get your wisdom teeth out can you not drink out of a straw? is it just for the first day or two, or the whole time the stitches are in?

I suggest waiting until the stitches are out and you're healed, because the suction can cause the wounds to open up again. Take it from someone who learned the hard way. Though maybe I just have bad luck...

so ive had my period for about 2 and half years now, and i still dont know how to put a tampon in. its really embaressing too because when i go away to camp [Im on the swim team at my camp] and i get my period, its embaressing to tell my friends/the coach that i cant swim because of it. should i know how to by now? its been 2 years! the thing is. i did tried this one time in 7th grade, my friends pool party which i was so excited to go to and wear my new bikini and then i got my period and im like okay putting a tampon in cant be that bad. omg it is. it hurtsss like idk why it bothers me. i just dont like that feeling of sticking something up me. why am i so weirdd haha. and i try again every now and then, but no luck. as soon as i try and put it in, even just trying to stick a finger in there, i flinch. like i just cant do it. what should i do??? my mom doesnt know what to tell me either, im worried. please help me

The first few times you put in & take out, it may hurt/feel funny. But eventually, you get used to it.
If not I suggest asking your mom/doctor.
