Do you think 5ft 4in and 140lbs is large (fat) for a 13 almost 14 year old? Especially one who is a dancer? So many different websites say so many different things I do not know who is right! Plus, my instuctor at my dance studio is stressing how in shape we need to be for the preformance and how we all need to be at slim weights so we will look "fabulous" on stage and in our costumes. So far I am the biggest girl in my 2 classes, whoop de do! (link)

You are fine. I mean to me you sound healthy you dance which is good so you are excersising. I bet it isnt fat and also girls are all diffent so dont compare yourself the the other girls in your dance class cause they might be built differntly than you. If its really bothering you just ask your mom to call up your doctewr and ask her if your at a good weight I bet most of the weight is musell form dancing. Dont let it bother you. Like my friends tole meEvery girl is a princess if she wants to be lol :)

Okay guys. I need help. I've been suffering from anorexia for about 3 months now. i've went from 140 to 105 in those months. my dad is starting to get suspishious. i need help. i hate anorexia, but i don't want it to go away. i don't know. help?! i rate highh, higher than the sky. haha. (link)

OK i know what your are going through. What you need to do is go to a nutritionist. It helped me SO much!! Also start eating slowly dont just one day diside to eat 3 full meals cause its not good. By now your body is is starvation mode. It thinks there is no food around so if your not hungry alot thats why. So start out slowly and you will get hungry a little faster. I know how you feel like you dont want it to go away. I also lost alot fo weight and i was scared cause i was really close to being in danger but i liked loosing the weight. Thats why go to a nutritionist a psycologist and maybe even your docter they really help. Also my friends really helped me so maybe ask your friends for help. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!

im very tiny & skinny .. but i have a little bit of fat on my stonmache that i want to get rid of .. i want to loose about 10 pounds only on my stomache - how and what should i do to loose these pounds?

Your 13 you do not need to loose weight!!! Like you said your tiny & skiny a little fat is healthy. When you get a growth spirt it will go up. Just let it g away natrually its the best way. But if you really cant stand it then excersize not TO much just a little and make sure your healthy and you eat right. Dont let little things like that bother you at 13. Have fun with your friends and hang out those should be the important things fmaily anf friends not weight and diets.

K, I weigh 145 lbs & I'm 5'3" and I think I'm fat. Now, everyone tells me I'm not [especially guys] but, I feel like I am. I checked my BMI and it's 26 which is overweight. :( That made me feel really bad about myself. In November, I weigh 137. I gained 8 lbs in a little over 2 months. I really wanna lose weight, to weigh 105, so I'll be healthy again, but everytime I try to go on a diet or change my eating & exercise, I never do. I lack enthusiasm. It's either that, or I just never have time. I'm a freshman in highschool, and I'm piled with homework, so it takes me a while & sometimes I babysit, and then I have to do stuff around the house, and by time I'm done with all that & my shower - I don't have time! How do I manage my time so I can exercise and lose this weight. I hate being fat!
Please help me. My confidence is really going down because of it. I know I'm pretty - but I wish I had the body to go along with it.

OK i have had the same proboblem as you. I am 5'5 and i was underweight to start but i thoguht i was fat and i stoped eating and lost alot of weight and i got very sick. What happend is i went to a nutrisionist (how ever you spell it) and she helped me see that if you eat the rigth foods its fine if you gain weight or w,e cause your healthy. So i think you are fine the way you are and dont lsiten to those BMI things they arent true they are what got me to stop eating. So if your really worried which i dont think you should be you can see a nutritionist and she/he can help you. Ok just please be careful!!!
