about

I'm 16 and I love drawing, listening to music and hanging out with my friends. My family and friends always tend to come to me for advice or support because I'll try to help no matter what. I like to help and offer friendship to those who need it and I'm always willing to give time to answer a question someone needs help with.

Okay my period is a bit..odd. I have had it for a year and a half now, so it should be regular right? well I do get it regularly but its just not every 28 days. It's about every 40 days really. I dont have any other symptoms or anything. Is this normal? I mean i never really skip a period, There is just a long time in between them.

I'm the same way, my period is very off track, I get it here and there, but it's perfectly normal. Not everyone is the same some people get it right on time and others have to wait a while, but it's pretty normal. I was told by my doctor that my period will be irregular for a while but eventually it will just get into place. Nothing to worry about:)Though if you notice a change or there is something wrong you should definetly go see a doctor, but if not, than you have nothing to worry about:)

i need a good work out plan. im 15/f. i want to do crunches, some weights, yoga, and some kindof work on the legs?
i just dont know how often to do each without hurting myself or over-doing it.

if anyone has a workout plan set out for themselves, then please feel free to share :D

and if anybody has suggestions on what plan i could be on then that'd be great. :D

To make sure you're not over doing it, it's best to go back and forth, so one day you would do muscle work, meaning, working your abs, so crunches, sit-ups, leg lifts..also you can work your arms as well by doing, weights, push-ups..
Make sure you ALWAYS stretch before working out because that will make sure you do not pull a muscle or hurt yourself.
If your into to any sports or physical activity, than do that as much as possible, even if it's just going for a walk everyday or running around the block it's best to get at least 30mins of excercise everyday. Do muscle work every second day in order to give your muscles a rest. Hope I could help, Good luck!!

I'm 15 and just recently got my period
(Yes, I know I got it pretty late.)
I've only had it about 3 times now, but I HATE it.
I can't stand it. It makes me feel like I can't do anything with it.
Since I don't like pads, I wear tampons, but they're always popping halfway out.
(Which is weird because I'm not using a big size or anything.)
I constantly have to go "adjust" myself and I never
feel like going anywhere because I'm afraid I will leak.

Does anyone have any advice?
Any kind words would be appreciated right now.

Don't worry, I know exactly how you feel.Having your period does suck but you'll get used to it. If you look online at any girl sites they usually have good tips on what and what not to do during your period and what kind of pad or tampon is best for you. Believe me, you're still able to do everything you do without your period, with your period, you just have to get used to it, with that takes time. I know it may seem embarassing but it's okay to ask somebody with the right information, questions, like your close friends, your mom, doctor or anybody you can really trust. Because the one who gets the reward in the end will be you. So don't be afraid to do some research.

im getting braces tmrw and im really nervous about it... i hate the orthodontist soooo much and people in my mouth... i'm so nervous im gonna like feel sick while hes putting the braces on, ialways gag when im there and really nervous about it.. how long will putting everything on take? will it hurt a lot? answer everything and give details please if you can!

I had braces!Actually I had a lot of work done in my mouth and I was just as scared as you are, but don't worry, in the end I was happy with the results so it was allll worth it!
In my opinion it didn't hurt, I told the orthodontist when I went in that I was terrified, he just told me to relax and that everything was going to be fine, he explained to me what they were going to do and about how long it would take them. Afterwards my mouth felt a little weird for a few days, but eventually I couldn't even feel them anymore. Next thing I knew my braces were gonna be removed!
I say ask your orthodontist questions when you go, tell him your nervous and I'm sure everything will go great!
Good luck and have a great New Year!
