Hey guys. Right now, I'm a bit sad. For as long as I can remember, my number one priority in life has been softball. It's all I ever wanted to do. When, I lived with my mom, it was all I ever DID. I moved in with my dad when I was about 9, going on 10. I still played softball, and I still loved the game with all my heart. I made all-stars every year I played. Then, one year after we lost a game, my all-star coach made us practice right afterwards. We were all too hot and worn out, and my dad was furious with this, and told my coach I quit. This happened when I was about 12. Ever since then, I haven't made the all-stars team, and I see myself becoming worse and worse. I would do anything to play softball in college, but I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm now going to be a sophomore in high school, and I'm on the high school team. I want to get better, and help myself. But I don't know how. I also need confidence, something I lack tremendously. I'm going to the World Cup of Softball in July, and I just want to be able know that there's a chance I could be there one day. Maybe not on the Olympic team, but a college team, one that is highly respected, like the Texas Longhorns. It is my dream to play for them. I guess I'm sad because I know I'm not going to make it to where I want to be with softball. I don't really know what my question is, but could someone just help me?
hey..well softball is also my life i live wat sleep softball..its teh best feeling in the world..and i quit playing high school ball my freshman year casue the coach was retarted nad had his favorties and our team goes to state every year but this one weve won statte 3 times! then i quit but i got back into softball..i just think you need to talk to your coach and prove to him your should be on the all star team..jsut give it your all dont force your self jsut relax at everything..you can do this mental thing you lay down and jsut think of when uaare on the field what you should sdo wiht every play nad every time you are up and what you should do etc..make sure your eyes are closed just concentrate realx take deep breathes and it works i felt so much better when i did this..u can do it before games or practices..maybe even get the whole team to do it nad you shall all work better..and then i say talk to the coach and tell ur dad to stay out of it cause it was one lost big deal..as long as you love it and want to pla it and think youll do good then do it and hell yeah go texxas! and i also wwant to play for them but i dont play high school anymore so i dont htink i will get naywhere with my softball but dont give up! i have faith!
