Here's a little about me...
My name is Nikki and I am 17 years old & I have a daughter who means EVERYTHING in the world to me, I'd do ANYTHING for her...I love spending time with her and watching the new things she does everyday...I cant wait until she starts talking and walking..but yeah what mother cant right?..lol...well I love giving advice...I've been through a lot the past 4 years like being homeless and things like that which I'm not homeless anymore but i know how it feels and I've been through a lot so i know a lot...i know more about a lot of stuff then most 17 year olds my age but hey everyone can give advice but I am A teen mother and so I know a little bit, but theres WAY more to learn about being a mother...but...i want y'all to feel free day or night to ask me for advice because i love giving it..thanks...By the way...I love getting Feedback so i will know if i helped y'all out...so please send me feedback if i answer y'all's question's...Thanks Bunches!

*What is love? Is it the same as lust?*
Tough question. There are lots of different kinds of love-- romantic, parental, platonic. Mostly, love is feeling emotionally attached to another person. You want to be close to that person. You want to share things with them, understand them and have them understand you. You want to care for them and have them care for you. Romantic love usually comes with a strong physical or sexual attraction. You want to hold, touch and sometimes become sexual with that person.
Lust is physical attraction. Lust can sometimes turn into love. Often, when two people are first getting together, they have a really strong physical connection. When two people fall in love, lust may fade over time but its replaced with a deeper, more intimate emotional connection.
When you're falling in love, its often tough to tell the difference between the two. Usually, time tells.

I'm just curious, you dont have to tell me if you dont want to. But how did you become homeless and how did you get yourself out of that situation?
ok...i became homeless because we lost our house when i was 10...and moved in with my dads mom...and she kept on kicking us out with nowhere to go and my dad is med. retired and it took social surcurity 4 years to finally send my dad the money they owed him...and we had no where to go nothing to eat or anything...we were in motels for a while...and your wondering how we paid for them...well we had to sell everything we owned...and we got out of being homeless when my dad finally got the money that he was wateing for May of 2004 and we got a house and we had to buy beds and everything...we had to start out new because we didnt have anything at all...does that answer what you were asking?...if not then IM me on Koolchick20022006@yahoo.com or my aim name is sweetroxygurl046 or my msn name which is ns2bsmart@hotmail.com or just send me another question....oh yeah and we got through it all...i stuck with my family through all of it and in the end we got everything we've ever needed...

Well, My parents bicker and fight about things that they shouldn't. My dad is being a real prick and my step mom ends up in tears. It pisses me off why he has to be a real ass, but I am always told to "mind my own business" or to "shut-up". I get very stressed out and I hate it! It pisses me the F*** off and I have no say in anything that goes on. So, this is the part where you throw advice my way :-/
just tell your parents that they need to stop fighting all the time and if they tell you to shut up or stay out of it then say no...i wont stay out of it because i'm sick of seeing and hearing yall fight all the d*** time and see if that works.

Before I begin I want to say that I am not complaining, I absolutely love my mom and my life.
So my problem is my mom's yelling. It's almost like she feels that she cannot get anything across to my siblings and I unless she yells. Sometimes she is even too busy yelled that she doesn't realize that we have already done the things she's asked us to do. I've tried talking to her about it several times. My younger sister once told her that sometimes she doesn't listen to my mom because of her shouting at us all the time. Talking to her never works. I can understand that she is very stressed out at times and wants to come home without any trouble. But instead of asking us to do something, she'll say something like “GET OFF THE TV/COMPUTER AND CLEAN THE GAME ROOM NOW!!!” I'm even embarrassed by it at times because she does it while we have friends over also. I don't think she's simply asked us to do anything in a year.
I want to know if anyone ones anyway I can get through to her. And once again, the talking about to her does not work. I can't even talk to her about anything any more. It feels as if she just does not like having us around even though I know it's not true.
My parents are divorced so it's not like he can help. He lives in Iowa while we live in Texas.
if i were you i would write her a letter or something...something meaningful...tell her how you feel and that you love her but all the yelling is really buging you and that she doesnt have to yell at you all the time...tell her that if she cares about you then to try to stop yelling so much...and another way is to do something around the house that will surprize her...like whenever she goes to work let her come home to a Clean house or make dinner for her or do something nice for her...thats what i would do.
