My 12 year old sister wants something with AOL Instant Messager but my mom won't get her a sidekick or anything that's a cell phone. Is there any devise where she can go on AIM even away from home?

Like the person said before me, you can message on just about any phone. If you set your AIM to cell status in your options, the messages that you receive will be sent to your phone instead. All you have to pay is the fees for text messaging.

what does "television personality" mean? Like kendra wilkinson and ryan seacrest are supposedly tv personality... whats that mean?

I would say a TV personality is someone that is good with conversations, that always knows what to say. A girl next door is like average. When someone says they're not the girl next door, they are meaning that they're a little different and out there.

whats a good photoshop i can download for free, hats not just a trial and wont give my computer a virus.

I use a program called PhotoImpression, which I got for free. It's an excellent program that I am very happy with. If you Google it, I am sure you will find a download for it. It's also very safe.

i have a slight fear of judgement. ok, make that a BIG fear. so, i really like to sing and dance, and its been my dream for a long time to be famous like ashley tisdale, or another disney star. but i have the biggest fear, that someone is going to make fun of me, or judge me or something. i dont want to let that get in the way of my dreams, so how do i get over that fear?

If you love something, nothing that anyone says should matter. Just follor your dreams and what you want to do. Practice makes perfect, so try singing for your family and friends. You can even take some classes. No one will make fun of you if they can tell how passionate you are about your goals.

This is probably a random (and obvious) question...
I guess I'm mainly looking for feedback.

I am a snooze-junky. I press the snooze button, sometimes several times each morning, and lie in bed in a daze (often snoozing away), until the alarm rings again (in which case, I am likely to press snooze again). I don't know what to do to discipline myself. I set my alarm (cell phone) on a high volume, with the most annoying ring tone known to man, and all I do is hit snooze, fall back asleep, hit snooze again...and finally wake up when I absolutely HAVE to (as in, I have to rush to get ready & out the door).

This has been going on for a long time. I always tell myself that the next day will be different; that I will get up the FIRST time that my alarm goes off, and not the fifth. As you can tell, I am not an early bird, so I just make excuses and fall back asleep. I would say that this rates among my worst habits.

For anyone who does the same (or has at some point in the past), what do you do to just get out of bed and ditch the habit of pressing snooze? Any feedback or tips on getting up at the alarm?

You can always go to bed earlier. Another thing you could do is place your alarm clock somewhere in the room that you will still hear it but have to get up to turn off. Before you turn it off, go ahead and turn the light on so that you'll be more awake. Try to avoid lying back down on the bed after you've already gotten up.

alright...im 17 and my boyfreind is 20 and is like 2 hours away at college. I really have been thinking hard of what to get him for chirstmas and i really have no idea. he doesnt wear cologne, we dont have many pictures of both of us together, so i cant make a scrap book and he already has tons of picture frames of the pictures we do have. We've been dating since about may. I've made him cd's pretty much everytime he comes home from college. I realyl dont like buying guys clothes...so im kinda stuck. i dont have a huge budget, but im not gonna be cheap...any ideas?

You can get a really big stocking, and put his name on it. Then, fill it with a lot of little things that you know he will like. This is a sweet way of putting something together yourself instead of buying one thing from the store.

You could make like a gift basket. Put a lot of different things you know he likes, such as his favorite candies, movie tickets, a CD, and things like that.

okay well i have started my period, and im supposed to start within the next few days, but it isnt coming out down there. It is coming out like through the hole where you urinate from. Once again sorry this is so personal.

I still think it probably has something to do with the fact that you're about to start your period. Every girl's body is different. Like i said, wait and see if it stops after your period. If not, then you probably need to let someone know so that you can go to the doctor.

I just saw a video on youtube of some guy ranting about how we should "leave Britney alone," I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about (blonde guy). He was hysterical, crying, screaming...it looked like he was serious. But was he? Or was it some joke in order to get him noticed/famous on the internet?

His name is Chris Crocker, and he has many videos about various things. He basically worships Britney Spears. He is serious about everything he says.

my sister and i always snoop out presents, so we know what we're getting every year. this year, the main thing i wanted was a new digital camera- a NICE one. it was the only big thing i asked for. [last year it was an ipod nano, which was then $200, and i got it.] the camera i picked out was less than $200. well, we were snooping and i found a digital camera. it's NOT what i wanted at all, and they know exact what i want in one. there IS a possibility it isn't for me, because another family member wanted one. but i'm almost positive it is.

so my question is, if it is my present, how do i let my parents know it's not what i wanted, without hurting their feelings? i ABSOLUTELY hate to sound like i'm not appreciative of what i get, because i am. but since this is the only big thing i wanted and it's not even really what i wanted, i'm disappointed. help?!

I don't think you should say anything at all. I think you should thank them for what they got you and at least try to act grateful. They love you, but they're not perfect... Christmas isn't about getting gifts anyway.

last year i tried out for cheerleading, and i didnt make it. and i know that soon, their going to have them again. and that would just be sooo much fun for me to be a cheerleader! to get to go to practice, and miss class to go to games, and plus, it will give me more popularity, but thats not what im in it for, im in for it because i like it. well, do you think that this year, i should still try out, even though i didnt make it last year?

I think it is definitely a good idea to try out. Try getting with a current cheerleader to work with you on things you need to know to have a better chance at making it. I am sure someone will be glad to help you. Good luck!

does anyone have any fundraising ideas? it needs to be something kinda small, cause its for girl scouts, and we dont have to have anything huge, but we still want it to be fun.

You could hold a car wash. Many public places will allow your group to hold it in their parking lot. My cheerleading squad hold them at McDonald's every year. These are usually very beneficial.

I have a Logitech Webcam, it's a circle shape, and it's blue and white.


Well, when I got on webcam, my boyfriend could put me on Fullscreen? and I don't know how to do it on my computer, or on the Logitech window, it doesn't say anything. Not even when I'm on it, it doesn't say I can? Just Small and Large view, and it's on the Large, and it's not even big, or fullscreen.

How can I put it on fullscreen? Or even can I? Or just my friends?

I have a Logitech webcam, and my program does not go full-screen. All of that depends on the software you have. Logitech must not offer that feature.

can you get 2 different phone plans? like my mom has a cellular one contract but i want verizon. can she have both plans?

You can have two phone plans, but the more sensible thing to do would be to have just one. They have the family plans and whatnot that make it cheaper to add another line.
