Awe. I haven't had my first one yet, but according to my friends, it's not that hard. It helps to put your arms around his neck or waist in a sort of hug. You can stick your tongue in there if you want, but be careful with your teeth. And braces/retainers. Don't do it hard, just press lightly, or you'll seem desperate. I have brown hair and brown eyes, too. See my profile pic. =) I'm more tawny-skinned, but I tried this a while back and it worked nicely...use a pale powder eyeshadow. I like shades of purple and blue, but it all depends on your taste. I also like pale lip gloss. Pale against pale looks pretty good. DON'T slather on gobs of makeup. That will definitely drive guys away, especially when you lean in for a smooch...from my experience, 13-15 year old guys aren't too into that whole Hilary Duff clone look. She might be 16, but mascara and bright shiny red lipstick looks bad. Trust me...pale eyeshadow, some blush, and pale gloss are the way to go. If you're feeling bold, try dark eyeshadow for a more mysterious mystique.

Well, it took me time to translate this into normal grammar and spelling, but I finally did it. Okay. Here I go. Yes, everybody seems to have a boyfriend. Being a despie drives guys away! Trust me, you don't need a boyfriend. If you did, you would have one. I'm 13 and I'm happy being single. Heck, my 19-year-old cousin is happy to be single! You only need a boyfriend if a guy likes you. I know a guy who likes me, and I'm a little interested also. That would be my only chance at getting a boyfriend. As for you being 'not exactly pretty,' I wouldn't suggest slathering on a bunch of makeup. That just doesn't look good. For attracting some nice, confident, and calm guys, I tried for myself a very pale purple lipstick and black eyeshadow. It's kind of a yin-yang thing. You can also try a black lipstick and pale purple/blue/pink eyeshadow. It kind of leaves an "I don't care what people think about me, I'm being myself!"
