How do I get over a boy who was my first love & ripped my heart out by text & on aim he yelled at me & said WE R OVER finished byby!? I just cant get over it. And the weird thing is is that i wanted to break up with him weeks ago but, i couldnt find the heart & then he shocks me & said " listen there's no easy way of saying this but i want to break up with u" thats low. hey so i'm sixteen and I am living at my beach house all summer with my older brother. I have a bunch of friends who live here too. One of these friends is named drew. I've known him forever and I used to like him, for like two years. He liked me on and off but he lived an hour away. So we never did anything except cuddle when we were together. He was always really touchy feely with me too. I haven't liked him for about a year and a half. I've only been at the beach for two weeks, he got here a week before me. I was really excited because we were hanging being chill, no sexual tension whatsoever, so i was thinking this summer would be good cause we would be friends. Then last night it got weird. We both were off work and our friends were working, so we went to the boardwalk to see our friends at work. We hung out there for like an hour till everything closed. Then we went back to his house and went inside. We were watching Harold and kumar and just chilling on the couch. Then he got all touchy feely, and tried giving me a hicky but I told him to get off of me. I wasn't feeling it at all. So I got off the couch and sat on the floor. Then he got on top of me and was all like lets wrestle! And i just layed there cause i figured that would make him get off me. So then he picked me up and layed me on the couch and started kissing my neck and then he was kissing me and trying to make out with me. And i was just like drew stop i have to go. Cause i have a drivng curfew. I really dont know what to be thinking. I dont like him and apparently he likes some other girl who is at the beach for a week. I really dont want to be that girl who he thinks he can hook up with whenever he wants to. I dont know what to do...

15/f. this will probably be long.
there's this kid eddy at my school, he's 1 year older than me. i always thought he was like the hottest thing ever. last friday i went to this lake with my friends to chill and he was there because he's close friends with my sister's boyfriend(they were there too). we were talking a lot and we had to go through the woods for like 10 minutes to get back to the car so he held my hand the whole time, it was really cute. then he was flirting with me in the car. later when we got home, my sisters boyfriend called her and was like "i think eddy's interested in your sister. we should hook that up" then later apparently he was saying how he wanted to hang out. i was suprised because i always saw him as unattainable
then on tuesday i went to the beach with him and a few other people. we talked and sat next to eachother and the car and whatever, but we didn't really talk that much, probably because it was more awkward knowing that we liked eachother. while we were there he told his friend he liked me but he just got out of a 1 1/2 year relationship so he just wanted to see what happens, which is how i feel. its summmer, i just want to have fun. but that was the last time i saw him and i'm leaving tonight to go away for a week, and i'm afraid that he'll lose interest. there's a slight chance we're hanging out tonight, but probably not. how can i make it more known that i like him without it being too obvious, and make sure he likes me for sure?

So I've known this girl for about 8 years,
But never really got to know her until a couple months ago.
We started hanging out, and have become really good friends, but we both wan't to be more than just friends. The thing is, we are both a little hesitant to start 'dating' (we kinda skipped that one) because we don't want to make things awkward, and lose our friendship.
Let me mention that I'm 18, and have never had a girlfriend before. (so I really have no idea what I'm doing) I try to break a few barriers by putting my arm around her, holding hands, etc,
and she seems to enjoy that, but when I've talked to her about going further, she said the same thing.
On a somewhat related note, my dad's income just got reduced HUGELY, so now he wants to move 2,000 miles away from here, to try and find a better job.
So that's one more thing holding us back.

dont rush anything , just take things slow, and if its ment to be it will be ,if she is spending all this time with you im pretty sure she likes u and will be ready for whatever your ready for ya know? im sure it can be pretty akward sometimes but just give it some time , and if you decide to take the next step, just see how it goes,,,and if you dont like the way its goin , take a step back, and if you all are true friends then thats how it wil always remain period.
