ok so i was friends with this guy and it was awsome we hung out lots and stuff he used to tell me to find him a girlfriend and stuff till a few nights ago he told me he liked me and i knew he was truthful and stuff and i really do like him so i went for it!!But there is a slight problem and thats hes only in grade 7 and im in grade 9 hes turning 13 soon and im turning 14 soon after but i dont know if this is wrong should i tell him im to old?

"Age is just a number"..this is very true! I'm almost a year older than my boyfriend (hes 15, i'm 16) but he is very smart (alot smarter than some 16 year olds!) and he treats me really good. If you like him then don't let the age thing bother you! Its fine. x

It depends on your relationship with the person. Kisses on your forehead, cheeks, etc. can be from someone who likes you, a friend, someone who just cares about you, etc. In most cases a kiss on the lips will mean that the guy/girl likes you alot :)

If you have a good relationship with your parents, just say something like "today was so good, mom! this really cool guy __ that i like asked me out!" or something like that. They'll most likely be really happy for you so don't worry about it! x

Well if you have to question it..then think about it. If you're not comfortable 'hooking-up' then don't do it. I personally prefer to date a guy rather than use them for a little fun. Good luck. x

ok, so, yesterday, somehow, i asked my crush out. he's my guy best friend, and while we were talking, i just kinda slipped it in there. I ACTUALLY ASKED HIM OUT! this morning when i woke up, it seemed like a dream. but it wasn't. after i asked him out, he replied by saying, "i need time to think". how should i take that? what does that mean? if you asked somebody out and said that, what would you have thought? maybe i'm looking into this too far, but i can't help but do it, cuz i'm so nervous and stuff.

Since hes a good friend, he probably just actually does need time to think. Sometimes dating friends can be a bad idea (eg. when you break up you lose your friendship) so hes probably just a little worried. Give him some time to think, good luck! x

Alright so there is this boy a really like. Hes my sisters best frend so i really didnt think i had a chance with him. But i always wondered what he though of me. So the other night when imy friend was here she asked him for me. She told him all about how i like him and everything, but now im regeting it. I feel like it was stupid to have my friend do it and i should have done it myself. So i am just wondering what you think? SHould i have done it myself. It would be helpful to know what he said/his reaction when your friend talked to him, but if it is bothering you alot, just go and have a talk with him. If he acted like he wasn't interested just say that your friend was doing it as a joke to annoy you or something. Good luck. x

16/f Okay so here's my problem. I have never had a real boyfriend. I have had flings and mini boyfriends, but not a REAL one. I don't know what the problem is. Not being cocky at all, but I'm not bad looking, I have tons of friends, I'm outgoing and talk to everyone. People (guys and girls) always tell me they don't understand why I don't have a boyfriend. It just never happens. I know It will happen when Its meant to, but I just get really lonely, and tired of waiting. What should I do? I do have one guy in mind. We've been flirting back and forth for 2 years, and my friends swear we should like get married, but nothing ever happens. I just don't know what's wrong with me or what to do??? (link)

Theres nothing wrong with you at all. I'm sixteen and i've only had two boyfriends (one earlier this year, one i'm with now) Try joining some kind of club, maybe? That way you could meet someone with similar interests. Don't go looking for love too much though..let it find you!

well there is this guy i like his name is ian. i have had people tell me he likes me to; two of his closest friends told me that. & we write notes back & forth, tell each other we love them & we flirt like crazy. Well you could keep doing what you do now & wait and hope for him to ask you. But its fine for a girl to ask a guy out anyways, I think most guys like it, too. Just mention going for coffee or catching a movie & see what he says. (I'm sure it'll be yes!)x

okay, i wrote something on this site a couple of days ago about a guys that i liked that liked me back etc. well yea i was talking to him the other day on the phone and everything was good, and he said i love you before we got off the phone and it was soooo cute=] and well i thought everything was good. but i guess not, because the next day i found out that he was going out with someone.. and well i was obviously mad at the fact that he had a g/f and didnt tell me, and that he still said i love you to me, but what made me even more mad was the fact that it is a girl that i HATE!!! and so i called him to confront him abotu it, and i started to cry=[ well, he wants to talk to me now, and he told me to stay after to talk to him and so i did but he hasnt talked to me yet.. what should i do??? If hes in a relationship, stay away from him. Its not fair on his girlfriend OR yourself to get involved. It won't last. If hes telling you that hes in love with you even though he has a girlfriend, then hes bad news. He is probably the kind of guy who would cheat on his girlfriends. You deserve better :)
