Today in Life Skills, my school counselor told us girls "all 13-year-old boys care about is looks." (it's not a co-ed class) She also went on to say that 13-year-old boys only like girls with big boobs and a big ass. She said that they are very shallow, but the best thing for us to do is wait for them to grow up.
Is this really true? Do boys only notice boobs and butts on a girl and nothing else? It doesn't make me feel too good knowing that, because I certainly don't have a big butt and big boobs, and I'd like to have a boyfriend.

If you still want him after finding out what his fav. colour is, then yes you should make a move. Don't be afraid of being shut down. If you fail, then he wasn't right for you anyway. Well what kind of stuff does he like? Music? Your best bet is probably a CD. Or if he's into video games then a gift card to like EB games or Best Buy. If those 2 things don't work, try a fish tank.

Ok, I want you to listen very carefully to my advice: pick-up lines. Got it? Pick-up lines. That is your best shot right there. Whip out some good, cheesy lines and use them on him. I think you would be best off with the "nice shoes, wanna fuck?" one. Give it a try. If he laughs and jokingly responds with "yes!" then he's probably trying to hint at something. At this point, you should ask him out. You'll definitely get another "yes."

A new friend of mine (been my friend for about 3 months) who I've had a crush on for a bit IMed me the other day. He told me wanted me to fill something out. He sent me one of those "would you do this with me? how do you feel about me? etc" surveys that I'm sure we've all seen. I laughed and tried to dodge filling it out. Then he finally said "Listen, I'll fill it out at the same time and we can send it on the count of three." So we did. Both of results were pretty much the same... we like each other as way more than a friend.
Things got ackward. He told me he was seriously blushing to break the silence... we both tried to change the subject and talk for a while, but I guess we both felt weird. Out of nowhere, he shifts the conversation to "I wanted to stay single for a while, so I'm mad because I have a new girlfriend." and I'm like "WHAT?!" and he told me about his new girlfriend, but didn't explain why after he asked someone out THAT DAY he would tell me he likes me THAT NIGHT. I can't figure this out. I'd understand if we were friends for a while, but we haven't been friends that long and we're not that close. I'm sad and don't know what to do. Why would he do this?
