I really like my new boyfriend alot. He's my first & we have a great time together. However, I'm deathly afraid of a broken heart. I know I should live a little & not be afraid but I can't help it. Now I have the urge to break things off with him before he breaks up with me. What should I do? Can anyone who's experienced lend a helping hand?

i used to be the same way but then it all changed heres how: well you have to trust that he'll be good to ur heart if you cant breaking up could be the last resort. but dont let it get to that. it may hurt if he breaks up with you but with all the good times you guys have had together it'll be totally worth it. if you waste your time worrrying about it it'll get worse. just dont worry about it and trust him when it comes to breaking up and only if it ever does, then you can worry but until then relax and have a good time with him. lifes to short to worry. let me kno how it goes bye

Okay, usually advice on my relationship is the last thing I need, but you know what, I want/need advice.
Here's the situation.
My guy and I have been together for about a year and a half. I'm 17, he's 18, if it matters. This year (senior year for both of us), I'm going to a prom at my old school with one of my guyfriends. In the beginning, my boyfriend didn't have a problem with it, but he just called me and we talked for like half an hour about it. Apparently, he doesn't like the way my guyfriends look at me.
Now here's where half the problem lies. I have a LOT of guyfriends. I mean I have like 5 female friends and the rest are guys. I always felt more comfy around guys than I did with girls. The thing is, I know he's right. There are a lot of my guyfriends that I know like me, but the thing is - They know they could never get anywhere with me because I'm utterly devoted to my one and only.
But he's said he's gritted his teeth and not kicked their asses because he wanted me to be happy.
First of all, how the hell do I get him to stop hating my guyfriends so much? They like him, and they think he's good for me - I agree, he is, which is why I accepted his proposal.
(Don't freak out, it's gonna be a looooong engagement.)
Secondly, what can I do to make him feel better about the whole going-to-another-prom-with-another-guy thing?
There was another situation earlier this year when I had to kiss someone onstage, and he was kind of disgruntled about it in the beginning, but he turned out to be okay with it. When I brought this up, he told me he was okay because he was there to see it, and when he was there, the guy I had to kiss acted like he had no interest in me whatsoever (offstage).
I told him it sounded like he didn't trust me, and he said he did, he just didn't trust my guyfriends.
My guyfriends are like my brothers. Yes, okay, I know a few of them like me, but they're not getting anywhere, and their feelings for me are becoming a long running joke.
So what I do about my boyfriend's issues? He's not a jealous guy, really, and this is the first time I've ever had this issue with him.
So basically, help me out. What do I tell my guy? How do I fix the tension between my boyfriend and my guyfriends? Help me out, please.
I don't mean to be discriminatory, however, I rate ones for stupidity and fours for bad grammar and spelling. Thanks in advance!

O.k so my freiend has feelings for me (love feelings). I 'm not sure what to do. When she told me I told her I was flattered and I was but its been really awkward trying to make conversation since. We used to mess around and call each other "sexy," so I assume she got the wrong idea. The other day she sarted feeling me up and iI told her it was wrong and Iw asn't into girls as much as she is. hi, i am a sophomore boy and i have a crush on a freshman girl in my basketball class. i have had a lot of aim convos with her, many in person convos, and ive called her twice. i hear she has a bf and apparently, theyre in love. i dont want to be a third wheel or anything, and im sure shes not slutty or anything. what should i do? ive tried keeping low and playing hard to get, but it doesnt seem to have any positive effect, so im talking to her online and a little bit in person. should i ask her out (not ask her out to be my gf, but ask her to hang out) or what?

well im a girl and if a guy likes me i usually like to know whether or not i like him. i think you should ask a few of your friends to go to the movies with you. including girls. then be like hey im going to the movies this weekend with some friends wanna come. then if she says yes then when you guys all get in the theatre offer to go and get the popcorn then ask if she wants to help. then once you guys get in the theatre there will probably only be seats left where you can sit next to eachother.DONT TELL HER THAT YOU LIKE HER YET. let her get to know you in a different way than hes on my team. start hanging out with her while you guys are with other people. then once youve gone on 3 'dates' tell her. if she says that she doesnt want to be with you ask if you can still be friends. well take advice from me im a girl!! it might seem difficult 4 u 2 talk to her about it but you should do it. life is too short to keep putting things off like that. u dont have to tell it to her face but you should write her a note or somthing. maybe an email. she might feel the same way. if she doesnt and she is your true friend, than she will continue to be your best friend. dont be upset if she says no. you should ask her out on a date as"just friends" then she can get to know you better and possibly like you as more than a friend, GOOD LUCK.
