I will rate fives for all answers! In about 12 days it will be my boyfriend and I's one year anniversary. I was really low on ideas so I got a fleece throwover blanket embroidered for him, it has our names and December 22nd, 2004 on it and it also says I LOVE YOU. I dont' know, is this a good idea and if it is, what also can i get him to go along with it. I bought all kinds of things to make him a card and I just think maybe a lil' something else will do. thanks! -sahara

if he likes movies or music you can get him a CD or DVD. i think the blanket is a really cute idea. hell probably love it.

my boyfriend michael and me had been dating on and off for the past 4 months,, well he was very jealous of all the guys i hung out with when we first went out but then he got better and he didnt care anymore well we were talking online one day and he told me he was gunna go walk to his neighbors house kyla (a girl he dated last year and is dating one of my best guy friends) so they get online an hour early and this is what she said to me:

kyla: umm i wanted to let you know before we figured out from someone else.. um yeah me and michael made out
kyla: is that fine with you..? im really sorry...
kyla: it just happened..
kyla: :-(

--well it was all this huge joke,, kyla's friend was typing it, so me and him were gunna go to a movie and he was going to apoligize,, i ended up not being able to go and i called him like 10 times leaving him messages saying i couldnt go well he went to the movies i wasnt there he got really mad at me bc he thought i stood him up,, we ended up breaking up but i cant get over him he always stares at me some of my friends say he still likes me too i just dont know what to do

well you should talk to him. it wasnt cool of kylas friend to do that. but dont let that mess anything up.

I was really upset about something a guy friend (or so I thought) did to me.
Well I have a mental illness (schizophrenia) and am on a small disablility pension. I don't just sit around on my ass, I volunteer at the food bank and other places to keep me busy.
Well I went to visit my friend at his work one day. And all of a sudden, for no reason at all he starts saying the meanest things to me, like that I was living off the system and wasnt going to better my life. When I started crying and said he was being judgemental he said "you needed to hear this", in the meanest voice.
I havent been back to see him and he hasnt phoned to apologize. I even heard that he has been talking to his friends about me spazzing out.
Why he is being so mean? Do I have a right to be upset or am I overeacting? And should I even give him a second chance?

if he was making fun of you for having a mental illness, then why should you give him a second chance. maybe hes not a real good friend. if he really card, he wouldnt tell everyone that your spazing out, hed call you up and apologize for what he did to you. if i was you, i wouldnt give him a second chance. he doesnt sound too nice

my boyfriend and i have been together for a year. but jwe broke up about 2 weeks ago. is there a way i can keep him as my friend but not cry myself to sleep.

its going to tkae time for you guys to be able to talk and be friends again. breaking up is really hard, especially if you were going out for a year. if you give it time, you guys will be friends.

I'm dating this girl. I'm really happy, and I love her very much. but theres this other girl that likes me, and she happens to be a close friend. She has a b/f and she's wants to dump this b/f for me. But how do I tell her I don't wanna be with her? I don't want her to get mad and stop being my friend.....idk....

well you should just tell your friends nicely that you already like someone else. if she gets mad at you, it wiull probably pass over in a while. try to be really nice to her and talk to her, just dont give her any romantic hints. just be friends.
