How do you start a conversation with the guy you like? What makes the conversation interesting? What should i talk about? And how do i keep the conversation lasting? Answer all please! i rate 5s and comment
Well first, if its a guy you like, you have to know what he likes, right? Or something that he likes. Maybe he has a sticker for a band on his notebook, or hes wearing a sports jersey... start a topic about something that you notice he likes.
If he's a sporty guy, talk about the school sport event that just happened. If hes a musical guy-- talk about a CD from the band that he likes that just came out. Stuff like that.
Making the conversation last isnt the hard part. Just talk about things he's going to like-- not necessarily just what you like. Also, know what you're talking about. Dont just pull some random topic out of your ass , that he likes, that you know nothing about because then it will end really quickly. Be smart about it and start a conversation about something you have intrest in(you dont have to necessarily like it but just know about it) so you dont seem fake when you bring it up.
Do what comes natural to make it intresting. Random fun facts about the things that he likes, or just talking about it in general may keep it intresting. Having a common intrest with someone is the key thing for a good conversation.
I hope I helped you out. And I hope if you do start a conversation with the guy you like, that all goes well :)
When I was ill recently, I really relied on my partner, and he was wonderful at looking after me. I've told him how thankful I am and how much it meant to me, but I'd really like to show how grateful I am and am really stuck for what would be appropriate. Would a card or gift be tacky/inappropriate? I saw a book I know he'd enjoy, but it doesn't feel quite the right way to say 'thanks' for all that he's done.
Basically, I'm just looking for opinions - should I get him a small token like the book, or is it more appropriate to just talk to him about it as I have been doing?
I think you should go for the book. It a nice gesture to know that someone remembers little things like that when they are looking for a gift.
I'm sure he would like any gift you got him although here are some ideas:
Cook a meal with all his favorite foods, rent his favorite movie and cuddle up watching it for the night after the dinner.
Give him the choice of where to go one day when you are out-- pay for everything-- and make sure he knows its for the thank you :)
Hope those work, and good luck!
ive been going out with my boyfriend for a while now but he hasnt told his parents at all so they dont know about us but i think they know something because all of a sudden me and him started hanging out a lot more and so the other day at our track meet his mom was spying on him and since it was cold outside we were sitting pretty close and he was holding me and his mom got all upset and was yelling at him i dont know what to do because i dont want him to keep gettin in trouble for being with me he says he doesnt care because all he wants is to be with me and his parents dont want him to date until he is 16 but he is already and has had girlfriends before me but none have been as serious as ours is now and i think he should tell his parents but i dont want his parents to make us break up because we really love eachother please help -- should he tell his parents about us-- sorry its so long!! x0o
Make him tell his parents. They arent going to respect him anymore if he keeps lying to them, and they find out. Maybe if they realize how mature he is for being truthful they wont care as much?
Also, if his parents make you break up, then maybe its for a good reason. Wait to see if you guys stand the test of time. You can still be good friends, jsut cool it on the whole boyfriend/girlfriend scene. If you do stand the test of time, and DO get back togehter once he turns 16, then I bet it would work out even better than if you guys keep lying and snekaing around.
Good luck with that
A while ago, one of my guy friends started pestering me, calling me at random times of night, being mean to me, then being scarily nice to me, then being very flirty with me. We quickly figured out that he liked me, and a few days later he asked me out, and I said yes.
However, as soon as he asked me out he started ignoring me, finally getting one of his friends to dump me a few days later. According the the friend, he was just shy.
Now I'm really confused, not only because as soon as he asked me out he ignored me, but because now we are just ignoring each other totally.
This is stupid, I really want him back as a friend, I really enjoy being around him. And I actually do still have feelings for him as well.
Why did he start ignoring me? And how do I get him to stop?
This seems like the answer to everything-- but talk to him.
You say hes really shit, so you're gonig to have to approcach him. Sit him down in a quiet place, after school or in a park or something where there arent too many people around to make you feel uncomfortable, or too little to make you feel akward as well. Just ask him whats going on, explain how it hurt you when he ignores you, that it makes you uneasy when he treats you certain ways, and that you still want to be friends. Say how you understand that he is shy, and that he may not know how to act around people in certain situations, but you're not there to judge him-- just to be a friend.
I hope that all works out for you
Me and my boyfriend love eachother to death. But we can never find time to ourselves we have talked a lot about exploring other places and getting away from all the hatred we see in our lives right now. the thing is i want to spend the rest of my life with him and i know i do-i just dont want n e one else to get in the way . . . . should i ask him to runaway with me or wait till' we are older and go through school then college then get married?
Wait till you are mature enough to make a decision like that. Also, you should be older so you know you have a good background- like college or a good job lined up before you plan on "running away" with him. Nothing is as bad as it seems and you will have the rest of your life with him, afterall-- whats the rush?
ok can some one please help me here
my gf keeps getting her ass smacked by dudes and its realy getting me pissed off anyway should i beat the liveing shit out of the guys who are doing it? or just tell them to stop?
Even though it pisses you off, dont do anything physical towards the guys. It may be dangerous for you or them. Just tell her to lay off the flirting (if thats whats going on) between the guys and her, or to just try and avoid them.
She may like it if you seem kind of protective over her, but dont take it too far by knocking some guy on his ass. Just ask him to knock it off, but do it non-violently.
This guy and I are friends, and we have gone out twice before. I am entering eighth grade soon, same with him. His name is Kyle. He seems like a great guy to start a 'serious' realtionship with. He is EVERYTHING I have been looking for. I wrote him a note maybe two weeks ago. He didn't write back or anything. It said like I really like you.. etc. you know the drill. I mean seriously I am like totally in love with him. I don't know what to do. Talk to him, go along with everything[which he really hasn't said a word to me]. Likr I need help. What do I say to him. Summer is coming and I don't really plan on having a boyfriend for summer. But like during school, maybe two weeks before school. I am just so confused on what to do. Please Help, and don't pass this question up.
A "serious" relationship entails having one over the summer. If you were truly commited to wanting to be in a "serious" relationship with him then you would be willing to have one over the summer too.
If you have gone out twivce before, why didn't you stay togheter? Honestly, I say ditch the kid. You are too young to be worrying about petty things like what boy likes you and when you want a "serious" relationship. Besides, he didn't write back, and that upset you, didn't it? If he liked you back he would have either said something to you or wrote back to you, so I don't think there is a chance that he might like you as of right now.
