Recently, I've thought about trying to learn the guitar. I don't really know anything about guitars but I also play the clarinet. Does knowing how to read that kind of music help in reading guitar music? And is it really hard to learn it when first starting out? (link)
Go to www.tabcrawler.com They teach you how to read tabs and symbols. It's kinda hard learning rythms because tabs can't tell you how fast or slow to play. Also, you'll get your badge of honor when you're first starting out, your callouses on your fingers ;) Beware, they never really do go away.. Hope I helped.

what are some bands that aren't well known? like rock or metal bands. like how TBS used to be. but know a lot of people know who they are. know any good ones?thanks. (link)
From First to Last, Halifax, HIM, Rufio, CkY.

There's not too much out there right now because rock artists have gone so mainstream. Hope I helped a little.

I'm trying to learn how to play guitar, & I don't relly want to ahve to go get lessons, so I wanted to be self-taught, but I don't know any iste where I can learn how to play or know where to buy any books to learn how to play.

I don't know any chords or keys or anything, I am JUST starting so I'd need like the things what show you where to put your fingers & how to tune the guitar & stuff

so if anyone could show me a site that I could learn form or where to buy these books I would really appreiciate it!

& I was also wondering, should I buy an accoustic or a eliktic guitar? (I'm 14/M/TX)

thank you so much!

Go to www.tabcrawler.com They teach you how to read and play tabs and they explain what pauses are, ect. They have tabs for some of my favorite songs and bands so they could probably help you out. It's free and that's how I taught myself how to play. Also, I would start out with an acoustic guitar. They're cheap. I got my first Fender acoustic for $150. You'll get comfortable with an acoustic and then warm up to an electric guitar. Acoustics are also not as loud as electrics so you won't drive your parents insane. Almost all of my friends who play guitar started out acoustic because it gives you a sense of, "Do I really wanna play guitar??" Hope I helped!!

Does anybody know if Laney was adopted like you know in eminems songs. i know that halyey is his real kid but what about laney? i know its kind of a dumb question but i dont need to know that thank you! peace.xox (link)
I'm pretty sure Eminem adopted Laney... I'm almost positive.

Hey guys. OK. I play the guitar and I'm still kinda learning and all but I need to know where you can get the notes for the music like for the songs. As in the sheet music. So if you could tell me a website or where I can get it and stuff, that would be great! Thanks in advance! (link)
www.tabcrawler.com

That's where I went when I first started to play songs on my guitar. They also teach you how to read tabs and what different symbols mean on Tabs. You can also check your local music store.
