Well, I'm a very quiet, shy person when you first meet me. But, once you get to know me, I become more talkative & hopefully fun to be around! If I come off as a bitch, I definitely don't mean it. Not very many places around here hire 14-year-olds. They barely hire 15-year-olds because you are so limited to the things you can do. I guess you could try a fast food place but you won't get very many hours because of what you can/can't do. I'm guessing they don't have detasseling in CT. Thats one thing you could do, but I kind of doubt they have that up there.
I am 14 and a freshen in high school. I live in a small town where girls have been friends since they first started school and they dont really like to hang out with anybody but their crew. The popular girls share a lot of the same interests as I do and I really want to become friends with them but they seem as if they could care less. Most guys say I am wicked hot and thats what I though it took to become popular.I want to know how to become close friends with the popular girls also want to know how to become popular.

The same thing happened when I started middle school in this small town. Everyone had been friends since kindergarten & didn't really care about new people coming in. Of course, the people I hang out with share the same interests as they do but I'm not really sure there's a whole lot you can do about it. I guess just start up a conversation with one of the popular girls about something you both have in common. But being popular isn't everything, just a social status.
