Mkayy well I don't know if this is a cute idea for a guy or whhahh. But my boyfriend is a senior, I'm a sophomore. We've been dating on and off for almost a yearrrr, anyway, I was just wondering if this is a good idea to ask him to like Winter Formal:
So like over break, I'll tell him I need to talk to him, he'll come over but then in my driveway will be WINTER FORMAL spelled out in rose petals and then like in tea light candles put a huge heart around it and light it?
I don't know if this is like good for a guy haha my Mom was like um I don't think your bf will like that, that's more of like a girl thing with the rose petals? My other idea is just spelling out WINTER FORMAL in tea lights but like that'll take awhile haha and I'm scared only parts of the letters will stay lit, if you know what I'm saying? Anywayy thanks(: (link)

Although they don't show it, guys like romance as much as girls. They like it when girls put effort into impressing them.
That shows romance and you trying to impress him, and I'm sure he'd love it, definitely more than you just asking him verbally to go with you.
The fact you're thinking about it, and came up with that idea shows you think he might appreciate it. You know your bf more than your Mum, so if I were you I'd go for it!
Even if your plan somehow screws up, it still shows you made effort and I'm sure your bf would love it!

i need a code that hides the words in the comments that say : 'comment back send message block user'
i only want that hidden, not the comments just those words above the message in the comments. thankyou..:) (link)

If you're worried about it showing up in your profile to other users, don't worry about it. It only shows up to you, as it has no need for anyone else.
Go onto a friend's profile, then their comment section. You'll notice they don't have it either, and I'm 100% sure they didn't use any code.

Okay i really like this guy, but i think hes emo. He talks to me and crap, but i cant imagine him dating ANYONE. I need help as to like get through that barrior. You know? Ive gotten to know him and hes really funny, people judge him, and hes misunderstood. But i cant help feel that he likes the attention of being "emo". Which he denies that he is, people just assume. So, i need help talking to him! (link)

I don't mean to sound like one of those idiots who go "I HATE LABELS!!!!!!!!!!!!" but he might not be like the label.
I mean labels are important in our day to day lives no matter what anyone says, but now you want to get to know this guy, you can drop the label you've given him. Labels are only there for people we will never get to talk to or meet.
I mean yes, you might be right he may have a few emo qualities, but first you should get to know the guy. He might be the complete opposite. There's so many people out there who possess a few emo qualities but are NOTHING like an emo, some even hate them.

Okay so it's an ok friend and not a best friend, that's good.
Well, if I were you just take her down and explain to her how much you like him and he might like you back, and there's no point holding a grudge or holding a crush because he doesn't feel anything in that way towards her.
If she gets mad at you it's her problem.

My bosses are jerks to all of their employees. This woman and her husband own the resturaunt and they don't treat us right. The woman has made all of the waitresses cry at one point or another because she gets in our faces and yells at us and accuses us of doing stuff wrong or not doing our job at all. We have confronted her about it and she just doesn't care. (she has even said so)
The man is also a jerk to us. He's always making fun of us if we forget something or make a simple mistake or if we have a question.
It really bothers all of us.
Now they are telling us that they don't want any employees under the age of 21 to work for them due to the alcohol serving issue with us being underage.
If they were to fire us just due to our age, is there anything we can do about it? Like is that some form of discrimination since they knew our ages and the laws when they hired us.

It depends where you live.
If you live in America well you know how the government is there, with the 'freedom!' so if you were to ALL lodge in a complaint to the right office they could get in trouble.
If you live in Australia I doubt you can do anything thanks to the stupid IR laws.
And if you live anywhere else, same as America. Get everyone that gets fired to lodge in a complaint to the right person.

13,female,australian: At school i have a normal amount of friends and they are all good to me. I am making friends with some of the other kids in my grade and they are nice to me too. i usually sit with them because my other friends dont save me a seat, and i dont think they like me hanging out with the other kids. the other kids are natasha, talisha and a couple of boys (robert, jake and michael [i have a crush on michael]) during class everyone will be talking on my table and i will say something, but no one will hear me, so i say it again and no one answers. It really annoys me. Once i walked up to them and said hi but they didnt answer, so i said hi and they didnt answer again, so i said bye and walked away, i looked back and they didnt seem to notice me and they kept talking. I was pretty sad about that so i was acting sad all day (i didnt mean to) then natasha askted me what was wrong. I said nothing because i didnt want to tell her. she really confuses me, first she will act like i dont exist, next she will be talking and listening to me. I cant talk to anyone about this so i had to tell someone. please answer my question: what should i do to make them notice me more? (link)

Okay here is two suggestions:
One: Maybe you aren't being noticable enough? My friend always complains about how her group of friends 'ignore' her when she is quiet the whole time and doesn't speak up. By reading this your case is different to hers but maybe it has a few similiar points. Here's what to do:
If they are talking, join the group quietly and wait until they've finished or join the conversation. Be a bit more forceful than just saying "hi"
But if that fails here's suggestion two
Two: This is harsh, and will seem hard and stuff but walk away, and make new friends. If they are ignoring you they are seriously not worth your time.
Hope I helped :-)

I work for a solicitor in a town in Australia. This morning my boss came out to me and another work mate and told us that we may have to start looking for new jobs in the next few weeks.
He told us that he's going to have to close the business because he will be declared bankrupt if he can't do anything about it before the 16th of April!
I don't want to lose my job, I love working here! The girls are great, I like the work, but we are struggling for money every week to pay us!
Is there anyway at all that I could possibly do something to help my boss keep his business going?
I feel so sorry for him, he has no family and his life is dedicated to this place! I just want to help him out.
Any suggestions? Thank you so much! (link)

Maybe you and your co-workers could organize a fundraiser to help the business, maybe sell some things or something?
Sorry, I don't know much about fundraisers so I can't really tell you much about them but it might raise some money to keep the business open a bit longer to think of something even better.
