Just be yourself!! Try to subtly talk to people you think are nice. Say things like I love your shirt, where did you get it? or Your hairdo is awesome! always compliement people. they love it. Also ask them about themsleves. most people like talking about themselves!!

Q: Well, there's this guy that I like a lot and I talk to him all the time, I have a class with him and my friends that have other classes with him say they forget he's in there because he never talks, but in my class, I talk to him all the time. Kind of like he isn't shy around me and that's awesome. Well, I asked him to this christmas dance because the girls had to ask the guys and he said he didn't know. Well, I asked him on Friday and now it's Tuesday and he hasn't answered me back. It's really weird though because whenever I see him in the hallways, we look over at eachother and sometimes we talk in the hallways and in class he usually will start a conversation with me, just random conversations. I'm not sure what's going on. I mean I know he's shy and all, but I really want to know what he thinks of me. My friend is gonna ask him 6th period if he's gonna go to the dance with me or not, but I'm so confused with his signs, I don't know if they are signs or just friendlyness. The only thing is, in all the other classes he has, he never ever talks and then he gets in my class and whenever we have free time to talk, me and him are talking. Please help!

Well. it sounds like this guy is really sweet, and im glad you asked him to the dance thing! but maybe his friendlyness might be because he just wants to be your friend and not your boyfriend, and so he's confused why you asked him to the dance. just go up to him and ask him if he just wants to be your friend or more. hopefully he'll say more, but if he says just friends than be his friend, and maybe he'll gorw on you!!
