As the title says I'm always afraid that someone close to me will die. Whenever my boyfriends phone is off or he isn't answering I imagine him being in a terrible accident. Whenever he's late I think the same thing. Or I think he just dropped dead. The same thing goes for my mom when she doesn't answer the phone. I don't know what's wrong with me. I've never had anyone close to me die or anything like that. I've never lost someone I love before so why is this always happening? Right now my boyfriends phone is off and it's probably because his battery is dead. He should be home by now but he's not which probably means that he just had to stay a little longer at work. But I'm still sitting here with an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach that something terrible happened. I actually thought about what I would say at his funeral. What can I do about this, it's driving me crazy :( (link)
Ok, here we go:
As a 16 year old girl who faces negativity from her own family every day, I can tell you that you need to find a way to remind yourself that you aren't helping the situation. If you keep dwelling on something as horrible and traumatic as that, you might actually make it happen eventually. (the movie/book "The Secret" will thoroughly explain this for you) Then you'll feel horrible. So you need to train yourself to focus on positive things. Like the fact that you're close with your mother and that you have a boyfriend to come home to. Focus ENDLESSLY on the positive thoughts. Every morning, make a decision that there is nothing in existence on this beautiful earth that could possibly happen to you today to bring you down. Because you're alive and healthy enough to breathe and type. (I can't exactly assume the rest LOL) in fact, you should print out those words and put them somewhere where you'll see them every day, like your bathroom or refrigerator. Actually, if you want you could even frame these words and make them all pretty. I'm asking you to do all of this because if you keep going on like this, you might just make it happen. Don't let the thought of that scare you, either. Just know it and act on it.

I wish you the best of luck.
Have only happy days :)
