Ok so my names Melinda Grace but everyone calls me Gracie. Anyway, Im 13 and I jus got my period but a little while before that I started to grow hair under my arms and on my private part and I wanna know how to shave without like hurting myself or getting bumps. And how often should I shave under my arms? The hair there is annoying. And on my vagina I have hair but it's not really alot. Should I still shave or wait? Aren't girls suppose to shave there and how often?

Hello, to start off..nice name XD It's really nice.

When you shave bother areas under the arms, and your pubic hair make sure you use shaving cream..you don't HAVE to use shaving cream on your underarms but I do, because I get really bad burning.

I shave under my arms everyday, but that's just me. I think you should wait though to shave the hair on your vagina, you don't need to just yet...when it comes to the point when it really bothers you, than you can shave. It really gets annoying down there, when you start shaving down in that place... and than you always end up getting bumps..you can't really avoid that.

Take scissors when you do decide to shave down there, trim first than shave.. use a razor with 3 blades.. it works the best.. if you have aloe vera cream/gel use that down there to..so it won't bother you when the hair grows back in.

Be careful though, use a lot of shaving cream..don't want to hurt yourself down there O.O.

I hope I helped,

Emily
