Five years ago i saw a documentary on NYC and it's faults. it said 95 years ago there was world's worst earthquake that killed millions because they weren't expecting it & all of the skyscrapers collapsed. My Choir is going on a broadway trip to see a broadway show in nyc, and i am VERY scared that tehre will be an earthquake because it has now been exactly 100 years since the last major EARTHQUAKE. soo idk if it was true, but i heard that they were expecting such a big Earthquake thatt it will effect pensylvania and more than half of the east coast. Because of Haiti, Chile, iceland, norway, The volcano etc i'm scared that there will be an earthquake the day we go to nyc help asap.

It's almost impossible (if not completely impossible) to predict when an earthquake is going to happen. People can make all the predictions they want, but there's still no way of knowing for sure. I know how you feel, earthquakes scare me, too, but you can't live in fear of one for the rest of your life. This will keep you from being able to fully enjoy yourself. Go on the trip, and have fun. If you're really worried, look online for some online safety tips so you can get some ideas on how to be safe if one occurs.
