theres a guy i really like and he likes me but whenever he asks me to be his girl i honestly dont know why i refuse. we have been dating for a month but i dont see us as becoming a couple. i dont know why. he is a year younger and his parents are very controlling i havent been on a date without his parents there... its so akward. hes a bit sheltered and iv never ben sheltered even as a kid. what can i do. i want to try it, iv kissed him and when out a bit i just dont know though... any ideas? Talk about over protective, If you two are dating then technically you two are a couple. If you are not okay with his parents there then try talking to him about how it makes you feel, Maybe he can talk to his parents. I don't really know what to say other than that would probably not only creep me out, but scare me off till the point where I would have no choice but to turn him down? I would have your boyfriend talk to his parents about giving him a little space, Does he have a cell phone? Maybe his parents can keep it to a phone call every 2 hours or something, Having the parents there when you are on a date is not only invasion of privacy but good lord how are you supposed to get to know your boyfriend when you got the folks on your butt?

he promised to give me a date over spring break where his parents arent there, if that doesnt work i guess i give up. this weekends date was only an hour long, sucks.
