i just need a little help to bring me up a bit so any and as much as possible help, to me on how to cope or just plainly to make myself happier is amazing. i struggle a lot to make it day by day but iv got hope, my boyfriend of a year and a half and sometimes my few friends make me happy as can be and forget all bad but i cant always have them with me. i have post traumatic stress disorder from attempted rapes, and schizoaffective/schizophreniform disorders. for a while i was going to a doctor everyday and i got alot better and they said if it ever came back id go to rehab, i cry when i think of it i even am now. i dont wana go and iv been back at it for over a month. i don't eat anymore and don't wana leave my room i just sit here and cry and paint or my friends or bf get me out. i don't want to bring it back up to anyone. i see myself as a worthless ugly sack of shit, only flaws. but i was a modle and have a boyfriend. im so confused and crushed. it's tearing me apart i'm only 15. any advice at all for me on what to do, or how to act, or be happy, quotes? anyything positive

Oh sweetheart, I'm so sorry to hear about all this pain. When things seem dark, its hard to see the good. Thats something that I understand very well and I hope with my past experiences I can give you some advice to help.

There are a couple quotes that I know right off the top of my head because they mean a lot to me and helped me during bad times.

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. Its learning to dance in the rain."

"Sometimes you have to go through the pain to experience the joy."

"Rise about the storm clouds and you will find the rainbow."


Much of the time, there's nothing anbody can really say or do to make you feel better because it has to come from within yourself. Happiness is something you have to find inside your soul, usually by finding things you enjoy. I saw that you mentioned painting, and maybe this is something you can pursue. Sign up for an art class or show your family/friends your work. Paint whatever comes to your mind. Paint pictures that express how you are feeling. Sometimes art is a great way to release emotions.

If you modeled, then I'm sure you must be a very goregous young lady. And if you have friends and a boyfriend that care so much about you, then its hard for me to believe you're enitrely made of flaws. Everybody has beautiful qualities about them, sometimes it just takes time to find them in ourselves. You seem to really be suffering, and I hope that there is some way I can help.

Perhaps you might consider therapy as well? I know that when I was going through a dark period in my life, my family sent me to get help and in the end I'm greatful for it. I'm a stronger person now and happier than I've ever been. That's why I hope there is a way I can pass on my experience to you, so that you can heal and become stronger.

And I'm not sure if you are religious, but God plays a big role in my life as far as keeping my hope up. I'm not a super religious person, in fact I believe we should enjoy life while we are here. But the reason I believe so deeply in God is because He is someone that will always love each and every one of us, no matter what. He has a plan for you and wants to see you thrive with happiness. Durin the darkest times, that is when He is closest to your heart. He made you exactly how you're supposed to be and loves you for all of it, good and the bad. Finding God really helped me regain hope in my life, and maybe He can do the same for you.

Keep your chin up sweetheart. You're so young and the prime of life is at your fingertips. I really hope that you will heal and get better.
