Q: My kitchen and my living room are in the same room. The kitchen is about 13 feet, and the living room is right next to it and is about the same measurement. We are redoing our kitchen so its a lot nicer looking. The dilemma i am having is decorating. Since there is no wall separating the kitchen and the living room, i have to do the same color theme for each room. We are putting wood floorig through out the entire house too. I want to give the area a really fresh, and polished look.

So if anyone has any ideas on how to decorate my kitchen/living room (color themes, furniture, etc) please help me out!!! Thank You!
I have a great idea for you.

Do a tuscan/vineyard style theme!!

Colors: Browns, Tans, Greens, Purples, Deep Reds, and Mustard Yellow

Kitchen: Vineyard themed artwork (small) framed paintings of grapes, cheeses, wines, etc. Little ...maybe a border of grapvine going around the kitchen...etc. heres a picture:

Living room: Lots of black iron accents, tan and brown fabrics, darker woods, grapevine accents...etc. this website is GREAT for this:
