i just want to keep myself annonymous to any one who might know my regular user name (which is my nickname) but a little about me is i love to play my guitar alot, skateboarding, snowboarding and trying to help people even though i suck at putting the words in the right order to make it say what i'm thinking -_-

Okay so I guess I don't hate being a girl, but it is really frustrating me!! And I wasn't sure what category to put this under but since it kind of deals w/ boys, I chose this one... Okay so I'm just getting really frustrated and I need a reminder of why being a girl is great. So first off, the whole period deal is just not fair! Its such a pain and guys don't have to go through it!! I put in my first tampon today and it hurt like he**! Its just not fair!! Also, I start swimming for gym class at my school tomorrow... I'm really nervous about that... Also, I get really frustrated by the double standard of morality thing. You know, the whole stud and slut reasoning. Why is it that boys can fool around and do all of these bad things and its snuffed off as "boys will be boys" and all the other guys consider him a stud? But if a girl were to do those same things, she would be labeled a slut and looked down upon by everyone else? I'm not saying I want to fool around or do those things but its the principle of the matter. Its sexist and totally bogus... Plus boys never have to worry about being raped or things like that because those things rarely happen to boys, its so lame and I hate it!! Please... Can anybody remind me why being a girl is good... Because I honestly don't think its so dandy at the moment... (link)

Because your probably beautiful the way you are, the hard times make you stronger. that why men are pretty much wimps they dont have these pains and troubls so they can be idiots (im a guy, 17 btw) one day the nicest most meaningfull relationship will come along and it will clear its self out all in time. you said you just tryed your first tampon, im geussing your around 15ish? But i guess the whole Boys will be boys thing comes down through generations having to put up with what we do best... buggering things up untill we grow out of it and straighten our lives out. really all its about is that boys think we are kings untill our own mortality strikes us in the face or the hormones calm down.
And girls having to be goody two shoes because if they dont thier labled as sluts really comes down to peers or parents over expressing thier high expectations, which is unfair... you could rebel like i did, im not saying go out and screw the nearst possible dood, you can do it in many other ways. the way you dress (emo? goth? skater? artistic? pick your style theres hundreds more than what i described) feeling artistic? draw, paint, sculpt, model, play in the mud lol? make a song? play guitar, drums, bass, keyboard theres tons of options.
rebeling through creativity worked for me i took art in school and have stuck with it for years. im not a girl, but my parents had such high eexpectations of me when i joined school that i was gonna be a doctor or lawyer or some kind of crap. its good if you keep them happy and your self happy. you see.. if you take up somthing that you can vent your stress for everyday life, you can become much more clear headed when tommorow comes around.
everyday im doing or thinking of somthing creative that i can do next so i can progress, if i feel like iv achieved somthing or beaten somthing then i have won against what ever was annoying me in the first place. I skateboard, Play guitar and just started Drums last year, i love drawing and trying to help other people out with what ever is on thier mind or just general help. hopefully i helped you a little, try somthing new take your mind off of how unfair modern society and people's aspects can be and break off from thier ways and follow your own, in your own style.
