14(almost 15 next month) female


Ok, so, I like this guy..a lot. And we're kinda friends but not really. We only talk about once or twice a week. He's always around girls and I don't know if he's seeig someone or not. I don't want to ask him because it would be a little too personal right? We don't have any classes together but his locker is a couple away from mine. Whenever we're getting our books it's just so akward and i don't know if I should talk to him! What should i say?? Sometimes i think he likes me back and sometimes i just don't think we're going to work out. Oh and whenever i pass him in the hallway, it seems like he's trying to avoid eye contact. What does that mean?? When ever me and my friend see him in the hall he gives her a hug but not me..he started giving me these playful flicks in the ear but i told him to stop. Why don't i get hugs? Why can't we be more than friends...and...does he like me back because it's just totally killing me!...


P.S: He sometimes gives me this look like he's interested but I can't read guys. It just confuses me!

I would say, yes :) He does like you, but he is a shy guy ;)
You could just watch him casually to see if he spends more time with a specific girl to know if he is dating anyone, but I doubt he would be since he is flirting with you :) Asking him directly might scare him away at first because it may seem very to-the-point so soon. I think you should for sure talk to him. Walk up to him and say hi, get to know him better by asking about his everyday life and what his hobbies are.
Giving a girl a hug is just a cute way to say 'I just want to be good friends' so don't worry if you are not getting any at the moment.
Avoiding eye contact is a way that guys hint they like you, and are to shy to just say it outloud. Flicking you on the ear is another definate sign this guy likes you! Any kind of touching on your hand,face,or body is a sign of love.. so whatever you are doing, it is working :)
Just be true to who you are, gain the courage to talk to him, and you will be on your way to a potential relationship ;)
