Q: I have a pug that is almost a year old, but not quite and I was just wondering if there is anything that I can do with my pug to keep it active, besides playing tug-a-war,walking it,and playing fetch. And maybe something we can do together that will make us 'bond' more as owner and pet.
Feed it IAMS atleast twice a day, nothing too drastic though, not alot of food. Keep water in his/her bowl. Be active with the dog. Play with it, make it happy.
To bond with him/her, when you walk it, dont leave it on a leash, this makes the dog feel tied up.
Give the dog all your attention when with it.
Buy some treats, they dont cost much, and when the dog does something you like, reward him/her, when s/he does something you dont like, dont give him/her a treat all day.
Hope I helped.
Good luck!
AA

I'll try to do some of the things you mentioned, thanks :)

Whats to say? I'm not so anonymous!
I'm a fifteen year old girl, that lives in the middle of no where, seriously! My parents are the best ever! They are the ones I go to for advise. I have an older sister, by three years, and a younger adopted brother, by 6 years.
I enjoy riding horses, swimming, camping, fishing, tanning, shopping, and hunting! So, I'm not your average girl. I HATE pink!
I have a best friend, of 6 years. She's beyond crazy! She inspires me in so many ways.
As for giving advise? I Love It! I'm here to answer any question you throw at me. Well, thats about it. Thanks for visiting my column!

I'm absolutely inlove with Edward Cullen, from The Twilight Saga. My bedroom is decorated in him, I eat, sleep, breath, Edward Cullen =]!
