Q: I have a recipe that calls for 2 large tomatoes diced. All I have at home right now are a few 14.5 ounce cans of diced tomatoes.

Can anyone tell me how many tomatoes are in the 14.5 ounce can? or to rephrase the question, should I use one 14.5 ounce can, 1/2 of the can, 2 cans to replace the two large tomatoes?

Thanks in advance!
On the back of the can it should say..
Servings, and Serving Size.
Such as two servings..
and a serving being one tomato.
I'm not sure how many are in a can, but I assume one.

I thought that same thing, but I guess this particular brand doesn't want you to know how many tomatoes are in that can. I searched the label for at least 20 minutes looking for some indication and then desperate I came here..

thanks anyways though.
