Hello. My best friend is looking for a phone that works with AT&T. She wants a phone with a FULL keyboard, either that flips open or slides out. Not a Blackberry, Blackjack, etc.

haha =D yess chosing a phone is always hard :)
but i would suggest to your friend either a palm centro, or a pantech duo.
since i recently own a palm centro imma tell you some pros and cons about it :)

Pros:
-awesome full length keyboard
-cool texting screen(looks like IM)
-comes with word documents to go( you can do projects on your phone =D)
-internet(rather expensive but will be well worth it)
-small enough to fit in your pocket =D
-touch screen!
-calendar, alarm, tasks
-very good sound and awesome speakerphone
-camera is alright...
-you can put music on it(idk how haha)
-e-mail
-tons more =D

Cons:
-it takes a little while to figure the phone out :)
-can't have ringtones without internet(you can bluetooth)
-have difficulty sending/recieving messages with sound or photo(might just be my phn...idk)
-u need internet for most things(navigation,e-mail,IM,mobile TV,ect.)
-turning the phn on silent you have to go to prefrences, sounds and alerts, ringtones, off(takes a bit)
-battery can run low if you don't charge every night(mine never went dead on me =D)

your friend will become addicted to this phone!!!

about the pantech duo...
the store said it brakes very easily and isn't insurable. i wouldn't reccommend this phone. you wont miss the sliding features if you get the centro. i don't even think the duo can do as much as the centro.
overall tell her to get a Palm Centro. she won't regret it!
