Is there a stigma around nose/tongue piercings? I ran the idea of getting one by my sister. She said that I'll look like a poser or a slut. I don't want to label anyone and say that "emo" people or sluts usually get one or the other, but I suppose that's what my sister was saying. I'm not exactly preppy but not on the other end of the spectrum either. I don' really care if people think that it looks odd if I have it, but I was just wondering if other people think the way my sister does?
I just want one because I think I'd like it, and it would be something new and fun to try.

Some people do, some people don't.
But if you want one because you want one, and you like it, screw what everyone else thinks. Do what makes you happy. =] I personally think they're cool. But that's just my opinion.
