so im 14/f and i am trying out for volleyball this year.
i was on vacation and missed some of the clinics and captains practices.
I'm going to a clinic tomorrow but i have NO IDEA how to play volleyball. Like, absolutely no clue.
And i'm kind of out of shape and stuff.
I'm really nervous about going to my first clinic because i've never played a sport before and i'm just like shaking here.
So what can i do to calm my nerves, be productive at the clinic, and make the team?
thanks!
First off, take deep breaths. I had never played, missed a few clinics, went to one, then tried out, made it.
Just calm down because if you're nervous and shaky, you're going to mess up ten times more than you planned on.
Just do some stretches, look up volleyball videos on youtube, and just watch. The instructor tomorrow will help you. Don't worry. =]
Hope i helped, let me know. =]

im a generally nervous person so added stress usually makes me freak out.
