What should I do? I can't take my family anymore. No one talks to each other...I'll elaborate in steps of a typical night:
1. I get home from school.
2. Mom gets home from work (comes in says hello and thats it)
3. Brother gets home and tells me to F!@# myself and calls me a "homo"
4. I go up to my bedroom because of them
5. Step dad gets home, goes into basement... no one says anything to him but my mom... about five minutes later he'll be on his blackberry, emailing people from work
6. Everyone goes to their own part of he house Me: my bedroom Brother: his room Mom: kitchen/bedroom/goes out Stepdad:basement (Tv)
I can't do it anymore we're so isolated. What should i do
PS ive tried a lot already and mom uses the exscuse that i figh with her so she has no desire to talk to me. (link)

Kay well, for starters, Don't listen to your brother he sounds like he's being a jerk and tell him to shut up or something. Find a big flaw from him, and pick at it untill he breaks. Well thats what normally works, but all brothers do that, trust me mine do that all the time. Also, I can totally see why you feel the way you do, maybe you could try talking to your mom without giving her "Tone" or anything so she won't get pissed at you adn start a fight, maybe talk about something you guys could all do together, I know going out with the family might be embaressing or something. But maybe if you guys all just go out for dinner that would be good. Or maybe go bowling or something? Also, you proboly want to start by GETTING ALONG with your brother, and I know its really hard, it took me a while, but start by being nice to him (after your mean to him but its your choice if you want to or not) and see what you guys have in common and hang out and get closer, then move on to your mom, talk to her about her day or something, really small things can make any parent happy, then go on to your step dad, talk to him in the basement when he's not using the phone or something. I'm not saying its completely up to you to get the family together, but you can always have a small start and hopfully it'll get really big and you guys will be fine! :D
