The Moulin Rouge translates as "The Red Windmill" .

This was a very popular nightclub situated in Paris in the nineteenth century consisting of...well..considered bohemianism...and courtesans.

It is still there actually.

The very vibrant and energetic film (directed by Baz Luhrman) introduces viewers to a world that the Moulin Rouge supposedly posessed.

Watching the film is definitley worth it if you wish to find out more about nineteenth century Paris.
