I have been in volleyball for like 4 years and now that i am going into highschool i was wondering what i can do to improve my "skills". Like work-outs or practices? My new coach is a B***h and she wont help anyone unless its during our normal summer practices. (link)

Oh My gosh! there are so many! :] okay here are most of what I do, that REALLY help for me in games and im sure they'll help you too.
1.Practice Jumping and swinging your arms at the same time for about 5 minuets
2.shuffle right,left,back,fourth for a long time, it'll really get you to feel the burn & sweat.
3.get a volleyball and hit it down against a wall or set against a wall back and fourth
4.stretch your arms a lot if your a spiker/setting but if your mostly in the back do a lot of leg work since you have to shuffle a lot
5.to strengthen your fingers, my couch acctually has us flex our fingers in and out and in and out a lot adn it really does help
6.if you have a basketball hoop try setting the ball into it, i know it sounds weird but it helps you with accuracy and height to [ajusting the hoop]
7.i go on runs a lot so I won't get tired out in games and am used to my heart going really fast and stuff
8.for spiking you toss the ball i the air a little over your head and spike it down to work on your wrist snap
9. practice setting as high as you can everyday
10.practice your approach for spiking like : Left [arms in front, big step], Right [ arms back] left/jump and swing your arms forward ad snap the imaginary ball down
11.set/bump/spike back and fourth with a friend and count how many times you can
12.If you like any of those/all of them make a daily routine and i garentee you'll get better.
like Monday=Hitting/approach/hit against wall
Tuesday=Running/suicides/shuffling
Wednesday=Setting/setting against wall/finger stretch&flex
and on and on and on.
Hope I helped! send feedback please. Good Luck! :]]]
