When you say Alternative do you mean Alternative Rock? If so, here's a list of some Alternative Rock artists.

I've looked over some of it (It's Wikipedia) because anyone can edit the information on Wikipedia so you have to be careful, but I'm pretty sure it's all Alternative Rock if that's what you mean.
