I've been on a lower fat/low calorie diet for a number of months now, but it seems like since about a month ago it hasn't been working, like my body is storing everything and I can't get pounds to come off anymore, no matter how low my caloric intake is. And I exercise from 20-60+ minutes per day. (yesterday i only had 1300 HEALTHY calories and worked out more than usual, but today I woke up and i was 3 pounds heavier) :[

I've heard about Alli, the weight loss pill, and I really think that it could help me. I understand how it works and everything but I'm not sure if it's safe. Because all other weight loss pills are recalled for being harmful, after they've been out for a while.

My mom is SO against weight loss pills because she thinks they're all bad and unsafe, so how can I get this Alli without her knowing, or how can i convince her to get it? Will pharmacies sell over-the-counter pills to minors? I can't even drive.

If not alli, can you please reccomend some other weight loss pill/supplement that might help me?

ps: i know i'm just 14, but my body has finished developing and i'm as tall as i'm ever going to be. so that might be a factor?

any advice appreciated. thanks.

Take the weight loss pill or exercise. one of the other, not both. Doing both could be incredibly unhealthy for you.

I recommend just exercising because weight loss pills are unhealthy enough for you. If it's over the counter, there are ways to get it then, such as paying someone who is 18 to get it for you. But i still think you should stick to exercise, if you really do exercise 20-60 minutes a day, you should see results within a month. Exercising makes you sexy and toned, weight loss pills just makes you lose body fat and look weak.
