I am a African-American 16 year old girl who really wants some different hairstyles, but I'm not sure what to do. I usually wear my hair in twist or braids, but its still "weave"....do you have any idea on different natural styles I could use? I'm not sure I want dreads and its hard for me to maintain a afro. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated... ( and please don't say get a perm....because its not natural)
Thanks,

you can always just comb your hair out or part it differently for a different look, like zigg-zaggs or to the side or middle. cute clips and hair ties will jazz up your hairstyle too. Also, when you get out of the shower after washing your hair, you could try flipping your hair into a creativly formed bun and when it dries it should be a little different. I hope I was helpful!

Thanks for trying but I've tried things like before and they don't really help: because I am a African-American my hair is a little "different" then others...in otherwords; sometimes I can't even comb my hair because its nappy.....but Thank you for trying! :)
