hey,
i've had a crush on my best guy friend ever since...around fourth grade we've been really tight ever since then, but ive always felt a little more for him, now for the past couple months he's been flirting a lot with me and calling me a whole lot more..his best friend asked me today would you rather be best friends or date him. his friend sent me a convo between them saying that he wanted to ask me out...i really want to say yes but would that destroy our friendship?
I tend to stay away from dating advice but here's what I think.
There's a chance it could actually destroy your friendship when a good guy friend likes you and you refuse him. It just makes things awkward. However, if you guys are both really mature and cool with each other, it shouldn't damage your friendship.
But if he likes you, and since you feel the same way about him, then dating him might actually be a very fun thing to try out.
