I'm doing a report on the social injustices of Anti-Abortion laws. Does anyone have any pro-choice opinions on why abortion should stay legal, and general opinions on the topic?

I honestly see both sides to abortion. I believe in the right for women to make whatever choice that they want to. I don't think it's right when people constantly don't use protection, and use abortion as a way out to fix their mistakes. I think that people should deal with the consequences of their actions, and they shouldn't kill a baby because they wanted to have a night of fun. At a same time, what if a woman got raped by a man and got pregnant? Even if the baby was technically hers, it's also the rapists' too. What woman would want to give birth to a child, when everyday she'll be reminded of that horrible day? Also, a teenage girl might get pregnant. She might decide that she honestly isn't ready, and knows that she can't support a baby. My boyfriend's friends girlfriend had an abortion, and this is what she said. She wants to be able to have a baby and give it absoltely everything, and she knows that she's too young to give that to her child now. It's not like she's absolutely heartless, and just forgot about the abortion and moved on with her life. She's constantly reminded of it everyday, and everyday the littlest things will remind her of it and she'll break down. She really wanted to keep it, but she knew she couldn't. I really believe it's the woman's own choice. I personally don't like the idea of abortion, but sometimes it really is a better solution than others. It's a sensitive topic and a lot of people have different ideas about it. It really is up to the own woman. Her body, her choice.
