hey guys! ok here\'s the thing...my whole life i\'ve been avoiding dating guys becasue i keep thinking that i want a serious relationship one day and im a bit young for that now...(im 16) plus i have so many trust issues...i keep thinking that somehow..someway im just going to end up getting hurt...and something is going to go wrong! btw im the type of person who doesnt want to get hurt...well everyones like that but i try to stay from it as far as possible...and i also dont like hurting people...sooo...
so i've never went out with a guy before..never dated..never kissed...etc. (and im not allowed to date well no one is here ...but everyone does it anyway...and i dnt mind that so its not an issue)
yesterday i was asked out on a date for dinner by a guy who i barely know! like we've seen each other like twice and we talk online a lil bit and then he asks me online.. you see im not sure if its a date but im taking a hint and thinking it is :s
and we've planning on seeing each other again and hang out an everything because we're in different skools and stuff... so ya..
guy: hey r you free on thursday?
me: it might be a bit difficult for me to go out on thursday...but friday sure :d
guy: ok cool i want to reserve you on friday
me: haha you have a reservation on friday :p...what time?
guy: loool would you like to go to the inter. i have dinner invetations for 2 people
me: cool from who r the invitatoins?
guy: my dad's
me: cool....wat time?
guy: i don't know i'll see...wats your number
me: *number*
guy: kk i'll see and call ya
so anyways i think hes a nice guy and it would be nice to get to know him...but the thing is ive never been on a date before!!! so not only am i nervous but im seriously having second thoughts here....i told my friends i dnt want to date and theyre like then cancel it with him and go on a group outing next time...but part of me wants to go on a date...i dunno im getting pulled on two sides here!! help ppl...any advice would be much appreciated! :D . so should i go and have dinner with him or just say i cant today im sorry i owe u one ..then we go on a group outing to a movie or something...

Give it a shot. Honestly. What do you have to lose? If you feel like he's being pushy or you know, whatever (you know how guys are like in where you live), you can always give a certain friend a call *cough cough* and ask her to come pick you up and take you back home.
Go out on the first date. Have fun. And if things don't work out, don't think of it as a heartbreak or 'he stole my first date'. There's no such thing as stealing in this world. We all steal. It's too common these days that even dictionaries will stop posting that word in the index...Just go for it. Obviously, the dude has a reason why he asked you out. Go and find out! XD
