my mom is having surgery on wednesday because she has a hole in her heart and i'm really scared, what are the chances of living & the risks? any further information is greatly appreciated..thank you

My mom has heart probs. But I asked this qu. to my dad.

"80% of the time, it's a success". That's what he said. I'm sure he knows a lot about this stuff 'cause my mom's been going through heart 'issues' a lot lately, and you know...

I hope everything works out just fine. Be hopeful. I am.
