15/f. What are some unique ideas that I can do at home to my clothing? I have read articles about bleaching/ripping jeans, and I am open to many things (even buying clothing at Goodwill). I am just looking for tips on how to change up my wardrobe without buying expensive clothing. And does anybody know how to remedy a fading pair of jeans? Thanks! (link)

-you can just cut off the neck, so that it would have that hip look. you can make the neck wider, so that your shoulders are a little more visible. also, you cut off sleeves to any length. right now i am wearing a t-shirt that i did that to - looks much better this way =)
- sew on stuff. cut out stars/hearts/shapes from different pieces of fabric, and sew them on by hand or with a sewing machine. i think a little cluster of starts of different sizes and shapes in the corner of a shirt would look cute!
- buttons! they're so much fun. you can buy a bag of different buttons at wal-mart for a couple of dollars. sew them on in little clusters, randomly, or in patterns. i have a pair of old jeans i did that to - they look great!

i love modyfying old pairs of jeans! i have a set of fabric markers, and those are fun to use - draw weird things, write favortie lyrics, names of ppl, w/e. you can dip your hand (or foot) in acrylic paint and decorate your jeans with handprints. you can sew on lace to the bottom of one pant leg - it would look original! buy some fabric glitter to make it look fun... basically, i'm describing the pair i have on now =)
also, you can make holes (i would use something that would wear the fabric away slowly, like sandpaper or rubbing one sissor blade against the cloth), and then insert colorful patches behind them - looks really cool. you can use the fabric web stuff to attach the patches without making any stitches. you can also make patches on top, without any holes, or make holes without patches. try to make it look tasteful though - don't overdo it.
just try a combination of those things, and see how it looks. also, that a good way to deal with a pair of old/fading jeans.
just use your imagination, and anything you have at hand - ribbons, pieces of cloth, pint, markers, buttons, beads, threads, etc.
