I'm writing a play about gangster love /story

I would love to hear stories from gansgter and stuff or maybe self experience about gangster ,

I'm want to write this play to help people understand the gangster mind...

Well personally, I don't know much about being a gangster, but my little brother had this book (it's a kid's book) and it's only like 150 pages. It's about this family who live in the ghetto and one of the brother's dies and it's very gangster/mobbish. It's called "Drive By" but I don't know who wrote it. Hope I helped! ♥
