I have a female, seven year old dog that is a rat terrier. For almost four months, she has had a bump on her right side. It's about half the size of a nickel. What could this be?

It could be anything, serious or not. It could be a bug bite or something worse such as a cancer. You should really take your dog to the vet, because they will be able to indentify it.

You could also try giving it a few days (about 3-5) and see if the bump gets smaller. If not it may be something serious.

Good luck :)

(Rating: 4) Dogs can get cancer? Wow, I feel stupid now. Hah, well I think we're gonna take her to the vet sometime this week anyways to get it checked out.
