im a twin and i feel as if my dad treats my sister differently than me .. she snuck out of the house and got caught and she didnt even get grounded while me on the other hand didnt tell my dad all the details about my friends sweet sixteen and i was grounded from my boyfriend for a week .. does anyone know what i can do?
babe i know exactly how you feel. i know its a tough situation and you probably feel like crap when you get in trouble and your twin doesn't. i dont have a twin but i do have a sister and when she does something bad my parents dont give a crap but if i make the slightest mistake they flip out. i know it sucks but we arn't the only people who have to go through it. the only way to prevent this is to talk to your dad. i dont know if you want to have the talk with him and your sister, or just him alone its up to you. sit him down when hes not busy and tell him how you feel that hes not being fair. tell him everything you told me and explain how you feel. if he knows he will probably make an effort to punish both of you guys if you do something wrong. tell me if it works! hope i helped.
