Q: How important do you think ratings are? I have asked questions, and try to go back and rate all the answers. However, I notice that a lot of people do not give ratings. It seems like it should be a common courtesy when someone gives a detailed well thought out answer.

Also have you noticed that the ratings now show up next to the answers? I haven't found this to be true of all my answers that were rated, but at least some of them.

I think it is stupid when people don't rate. Some of them don't rate because it was a bad answer, but still, I think they should tell you what they think of the question so you can get better at it.
I'm not sure...It should..anyway...I think it does..I hope that I helped, and remember that my inbox is always open. You don't have to rate, but it would be nice. Thanks!

Thanks, I appreciate the answer. I think sometimes ratings aren't reflective of the answer, it reflects what the question asker wanted to hear.
