Ok, this guy asked me to a school dance. But, he is fat, and he is a real nerd. He was the first to ask me. Im afraid that people will laugh at me for going with him. I really want to go because it will be fun and we get to go to six flags afterwards. What should I do? Go to the dance with the fat nerd... or stay home? (link)

you say he is a fat nerd, but you didn't say anything about his personality. if he is a nice guy, you will have an amazing time whether you like him or not. if he is not so nice, you might not have such a good time. no matter what, you don't have to be with him the whole time, so you'll have fun either way. i say you give him a chance. you never know what could happen.
