Hey everyone! My name is Kristen, I'm 20 and I'm a college junior studying pharmacy. I've been blessed with a really good life, and part of the reason for that is because I've learned to see GOOD in everything that happens to me. I love giving advice, and I've been told that I do a good job at it, but I'll let you decide! Feel free to ask me anything... don't be shy, that's why I'm here. I've been through a lot... moving from one country to another, leaving and finding new friends, break ups, boys, middle school, high school, college, self esteem issues... pretty much most things that people need help with.

SORRY ITS LONG!!! PLEASE ANSWER THOUGH!!!
My friends are really starting to bother me. They write notes to each other all the time and dont show them to me because they say i wouldnt understand. The notes are about guys they like. And in them they say that they are in love with them. They havent even talked to these guys before, but they say that they love them. And its not true of course!!! I know it isnt! Its not like i dont believe that you can fall in love young, because i do, but i know they arent in love considering that ALL of my friends claim that they are in love and that they are in love with multiple guys who most of them, they havent even talked to before.
So how is it that all of my friends can "be in love" with multiple guys theyve never talked to?
it isnt possible right? so how do i tell them this without hurting their feelings or sounding rude, im the bistandard here so i can see what theyre talking about for the truth, and not from hormones making them think theyre in love. how do i make them realize this though?
haha oh man, these girls must be in their early teens, am i right?? i can see why you are annoyed because that 4 letter word gets thrown around SO much, and that only makes it lose it's meaning more and more every day. in a class last semester we studied love and what it means... it's a feeling that cannot be described, but when you love someone, all you want is to possess that person and be possessed by him/her fully and completely. when you love someone, you can't even begin to imagine your life without them, and you would do ANYTHING in the world to make sure that you stay together forever. because love means possessing one person and being possessed by them, there is no way you can LOVE more than 1 person... that's not true love at all! just tell them what i just told you. they may listen, and they may not... but don't get too worked up over it if they don't understand. just ignore them. most people don't understand what love means until they fall in love!! :)
(Rating: 5) they're in their midteens so they're still all hormonalish. im a rational person so i know that ive never been in love because of , well, all of that stuff you said. that it's something special and cant happen to everyone you meet, not true love at least. thanks for your answer and ill pass it on.
